My Actifit Report Card: September 22 2021
Happy Wednesday everyone!
Last night, we attended a funeral virtually (via Zoom). The deceased is one of our beloved brothers in faith and aged 97 years old. Many relatives and friends from different places joined and expressed their comfort to the bereaved family. Some have shared in the video conference when he was still alive, they asked him the secret of longevity, he said that walking daily added years to his life. It's sad that he's gone. Maybe he can't leave the house because of this pandemic. He was not used to just stay at home so he became weak, got sick, and died.
So, that's what motivates me now to stay physically active. Daily exercise doesn't mean that we need to go to the gym. Exercising at home is free and surprisingly effective, without paying membership fee. From now on, I'll do my best to squeeze workout in my schedule— play badminton and walk everyday or every other day for at least 30 minutes around the block.
Aside from walking and playing badminton, I did a lot of chores such as cooking, doing the dishes, laundry and folding, and cleaning the house. However, my phone is acting up again. I think I accumulated more than 10k today.
