LEARNING GEOMETRIC SHPES AND MODEL, A TOOL FOR CEATIVITY AND EFFECTIVE ENGAGEMENT IN OUR HOME SCHOOL

Greetings from my side of the globe, am glad to be back here, its been couple of days now, have not visited nor make publications in the #homeedders community, due to the faulty nature of my garget, but while waiting for it to worked on, I will have to share a few personal experience on the tools that enhances creativity and innovation in our home schools, its very practical and effective, our kids really found it useful in our last few weeks in the home school. As soon as my garget is restored to normal, i will share few photo clips of our practical sessions in the home school.

Geometric shapes and models are basic and practical tools that enhances creativity and innovation in our home school, this has been so useful in the couple of days, while trying to help our children understand shapes and as they try to creatively model stuffs that is already in existence. kids actually do easily comprehend teachings when they can see, feel and touch what you are teaching them. in our home school, we made use of geometric solid shapes and also the geometric shape building shapes, to make the work very easy and quick to understand.

In our home school, we uses the geometric solid shapes, for the purpose of identification, so that while you are talking about the particular shape, they all can see the shapes physically and as well touch it, you can find the geometric solid shapes in shopping centers close to you or can as well look for something that can easily cut in pieces, to be able to get those desired shapes for the purpose of the home school class.
This shapes in a way is not new to them, but you will first of all need to allow them identify the once that they know, then you can, help correct were mistakes have been made.

This for us was done on one day to be sure they can identify shapes effectively, ask them which of the shapes is their most preferred shape and why they prefers it,
out of about 14 different shape that was mentioned and showed to, i ask them to draw on a sheet of pepper, 5 of the shapes among the 14 available, to be submitted in the next class day.

I will always advise that the solid shapes to be used to tech, first then engaging the shape building sets. the building set are very easy to use, you flexibly bend the connecting rod to give you the desired shapes and you will find how interesting the class will be, even with the child that often find it had to relates with other, will engage effecting

with the use of this shape puzzle the kids can use it to creatively model thing like house, car, etc, By using this, the kids are going to be amazingly excitful and can not forget in a hurry.
