Hunting for Reflections at the Wedding Ceremony | SMARP

I still have a large collection of photos from my brother-in-law's wedding that I’d like to share here. So, don't be surprised if I continue writing about this over the coming days.
This time, I want to share some reflection shots I captured with my phone camera—taken during both the proposal ceremony and the actual wedding ceremony.

All the reflection photos here feature the same mirror, though taken at different locations and times.
A large mirror hung in the bride's courtyard during the proposal ceremony. Adorned with fresh flowers, this large mirror immediately caught my eye. It turned out I wasn't the only one; many people were drawn to it for mirror selfies—especially the young women who were beautifully dressed up for the occasion.

A few days after the proposal ceremony, the traditional Balinese Hindu wedding took place. Before the big day, the bride's older sibling brought the mirror to my in-laws' house to serve as a decoration and, naturally, a photo prop.

It turned out the mirror actually belonged to the bride's family and was usually displayed in their home; it wasn't a rental from a decor company. The bride's family possesses a strong artistic spirit, evident in the handmade decorations and artworks displayed throughout their home.
It is no wonder that Gianyar is renowned for its art, which serves as a major tourist attraction in Bali alongside the island's natural beauty.
