Llevando a mis hijos a colocarle sus vacunas [ESP/ENG]

Saludos mis queridos amigos de @motherhood me siento feliz de estar nuevamente por acá en esta hermosa comunidad compartiendo mis experiencias y anécdotas importantes como mamá de tres príncipes Santiago, Aarón y Maximiliano.

Greetings my dear friends of @motherhood I am happy to be here again in this beautiful community sharing my experiences and important anecdotes as a mother of three princes Santiago, Aarón and Maximiliano.

Este martes me desperté bien temprano para asistir a un centro médico público cercano a mi casa ya que necesitaba colocarle unos refuerzos de vacunas a mis hijos, ellos están al día con cada vacuna que les toca según su edad ya que es un tema que no es solo una obligación como padres estar pendiente de eso sino un derecho que tiene cada niño a la salud, al llegar pregunté si en el ambulatorio habían las vacunas que necesitaban mis niños en ese caso sería para Santiago que es el mayor la toxoide y para Aarón el refuerzo de los cinco años la pentavalente, SRP y polio.

This Tuesday I woke up very early to go to a public medical center near my house because I needed to give some vaccine boosters to my children, they are up to date with each vaccine according to their age since it is an issue that is not only an obligation as parents to be aware of it but a right that every child has to health, when I arrived I asked if in the ambulatory there were the vaccines that my children needed, in that case it would be for Santiago who is the oldest the toxoid and for Aaron the five years booster the pentavalent, SRP and polio.

En el centro médico es bastante organizado para las vacunas se llega de siete a ocho de la mañana, la enfermera pasa a preguntar que vacuna necesita y le recoge la tarjeta en el caso que si la haya, luego uno espera y ser llamado para ir pasando de cinco en cinco realizan un excelente trabajo aparte que son muy cariñosas y amables con el público más aún con los niños que muchas veces sienten algo de hemos y se ponen a llorar así que son bastante pacientes con ellos, al entrar al consultorio pregunté sobre las vacunas y me informe sobre la vacuna contra el COVID-19 ya que mis hijos ambos tienen el mayor tres dosis por su edad está listo hasta los doce años y el menor tiene dos dosis y aún le falta una según su edad.

At the medical center it is quite organized for the vaccinations, you arrive from seven to eight in the morning, the nurse comes in to ask what vaccine you need and picks up the card if there is one, then you wait and be called to go through five by five, they do an excellent job and they are very affectionate and kind to the public, even more so with the children who many times feel a little sick and start to cry, so they are quite patient with them, When I entered the office I asked about vaccinations and they informed me about the vaccine against COVID-19 since my children both have three doses because of their age and the youngest has two doses and still needs one dose according to his age.

Como Aarón le colocarían los dos refuerzos decidí dejar la COVID-19 para después, mi pequeño estaba algo nervioso porque el niño que pasó antes que el lloro y eso empeoró un poco las cosas, las goticas del polio fue lo primero que le dieron para que fuera votando el miedo pero cuando llegó la hora de la primera inyección comenzó a llorar ya que era una de cada brazo me tocó agarrarlo fuerte con ayuda de otra enfermera para evitar que me fuera a lastimar con sus movimientos bruscos en mi barriga, finalmente al terminar lloro por un rato más por el líquido y después se calmó, mi hijo mayor al contrario se dejó inyectar aunque después me dijo que sintió un dolor en el brazo lo que es normal, la enfermera me recomendó dar acetaminofén en caso de malestar.

As Aaron was going to receive the two reinforcements I decided to leave the COVID-19 for later, my little boy was a little nervous because the child who came before him cried and that made things a little worse, the polio drops were the first thing they gave him so he could get rid of his fear but when it was time for the first injection he started to cry since it was one in each arm, I had to hold him tight with the help of another nurse to prevent him from hurting me with his sudden movements on my belly, Finally when he finished he cried for a while more because of the liquid and then he calmed down, my older son on the contrary let himself be injected although later he told me that he felt a pain in his arm which is normal, the nurse recommended me to give him acetaminophen in case of discomfort_.

Me sentí más tranquila al tener a mis hijos al día con las vacunas más aún porque las pude conseguir en una institución pública cercana a mi casa ya que en Venezuela el tema de salud es deficiente y hay que aprovechar cuando las hay porque pueden escasear, ya que es importante para cada niño que les sean colocadas porque los protegen de enfermedades, ayudan a su sistema inmunitario e incluso de infecciones que pueden llegar a ser muy perjudiciales para su salud y incluso hasta mortales, si le colocamos todas las vacunas necesarias a nuestros hijos ellos van a estar mucho más seguros al momento de una enfermedad ya que como niños ellos están expuestos a muchos gérmenes así que padres y madres estemos muy pendientes de esto ya que es un derecho a la salud que tienen nuestros pequeños.

I felt calmer to have my children up to date with the vaccines even more because I could get them in a public institution near my house because in Venezuela the health issue is deficient and you have to take advantage when there are vaccines because they can be scarce, as it is important for each child that they are placed because they protect them from diseases, They help their immune system and even infections that can be very harmful to their health and even deadly, if we put all the necessary vaccines to our children they will be much safer at the time of an illness because as children they are exposed to many germs so parents and mothers are very aware of this because it is a right to health that our children have.
