Freediving at last! 🥽🤿🏊‍♀️🌊

The long overdue plan has finally happened. Last Saturday, we successfully attended our first and hopefully not the last freediving session. It's been quite a while since we plan to attend a class but due to a short budget/financial problem, we weren't able to book a class. Luckily, we won a prize in the contest we participated in on social media, so we used it last weekend.

The class fee is P1900.00 or $34.88, and the prize we won isn't that much, so we just brought our food. I cooked chicken pork adobo for our lunch. By the way, we booked our class at Pacific Blue Freediving which is located in Lapulapu City. The travel time from Cebu City to Lapulapu will take 30 to 45 minutes, and our class started at 7:00 am, so we had a call time of 6:00 am.

When we arrived there, the organizers/coaches are very accommodating. They handed us a form to fill out and gave us instructions. The class includes almost 3 hours of theory class and 2 hours of open water sessions. I love how the coaches explain thoroughly what Freediving is all about.

It was just Donna, Bunso, and I who took the class. Sharon, Jed, and Babi, we're still undecided, they all have traumas in the deep so they just waited for us to finish the class.

After our dive, we got so hungry. We then indulge in our lunch. Then asked the three to join us at the beach. But before taking our last dip, we tried first the shakes at the resort. It was good! I can say, it is worth the price. 👌🏻

It was indeed a fun and memorable Freediving experience. I can't wait for more diving sessions with these pals. ☺️
