Family First “Part II”

As promised, here is the second part of my “FAMILY FIRST” blog that I posted last eleven days ago. I was quite busy these past few weeks, I forgot I still have this part 2 post that was saved in my drafts. Sorry for a bit delayed.
The first part was about how we celebrate Christmas. The continuation of my post is all about how we celebrate the New Year. Our venue was still Ate Gwen’s house in Minglanilla, Cebu.

My brother-in-law prepared sumptuous food for lunch. He cooked seafood Kare-Kare, chopsuey, and fried Bangus. He also prepared everybody’s favorite-the lato or sea grapes/ar arusip. Since it was a potluck lunch, I cooked Puto Maya or Rice Cake and my very own Baked Macaroni. My brother, Joey, don’t have time to prepare something so he asked me to cook chicken pork adobo. My other siblings were assigned to bring desserts.

Just like last Christmas, we played Bingo after having our lunch. Kuya Joey and Tala sponsored the cash prizes. I always love to play bingo, and it made more special and memorable game because I played it with my family.

After playing the game, Sway gave her presents to all of us since she wasn’t able to spend Christmas with the family. Kuya and Tala also shared their blessings by giving everybody an ampao envelope for prosperity. I am beyond blessed to have this thoughtful and generous family.

Before heading home, we dance the trending TikTok dance which is the ting ting ting. Ahahahah

It was such a memorable celebration. Indeed, time spends with family is worth every second.
