Magic! Mystery! & Murder! - What I would do if I met my favorite fictional character

Meeting my favorite fictional character would be a dream come true. After all, these characters have inspired and fascinated some of us throughout history. My favorite fictional characters are Harry Potter (Wizard Boy), Sherlock Holmes (Detective) and Okonkwo (woeful idol).

First I'll choose to see Harry Potter. The reason why I chose him is funny, the main reason is that he has magical powers. There's no doubt that there's nobody in the world who can use magic like him. So, I would love to ask him to teach me some spells and charms, If I ever get the chance to meet him. Now what would life be like if I had magical powers like Harry Potter?

These spells will help my life and make life easier for me. With all the exciting spells I will learn, I'll increase my intelligence and surpass Einstein's. I know the thought of learning how to cast spells from Harry Potter makes me nervous. And I know it's too much to ask, but I do not think there is anyone in this world who can resist the temptation to learn to use his magical wand. So forgive my manners but it justifies my conduct.

Secondly, I'll ask him to teach me on how to ride a broom. After all, driving a broom is more effective and environmentally friendly than using a car. No energy, no fuel wasted, no environmental pollution. Just take a broom out of your closet and fly it wherever you want. Ah!

I would call my magical stick the most luxurious and precious thing and I'll live the life of luxury. I'll ride on a broom to school, so my parents would not have to worry about giving me transport fare to school every day. Also, no driver's license is needed. Ha! I can't help but think about the experience.

I would not have to carry a heavy school bag as I can call all my books whenever I need them. I'll be a celebrity who doesn't feel stressed out.

Also, I'll use magic to summon a porcupine to keep me safe. It'll be my closest companion and will look out for me. So if anyone tries to harm me, There's a porcupine next to me! To protect me!

I'll use my magic wand to produce food machines that scientists are yet to create. This machine will have the amazing capability to produce unlimited drinking water and all kinds of food at the touch of a button. This ensures food security at all times, and this act will solve world hunger and all our philanthropist crimes will be solved.

Secondly, I'll choose to see Sherlock Holmes, the Detective. I look forward to hearing his thoughts on a wide range of subjects, from the nature of crime to that of logic.

I would like to learn about his own life more deeply. What drives him to work on the crimes? What does he think will happen in the future? I would ask him to explain the core characteristics of a felonious detective in case I'll be inspired to become one.

I know Sherlock Holmes will have answers to these questions. He will probably make me laugh, but I'm sure he will also make me think about my environment in general. Having the opportunity to speak with him would be an awesome experience.

Finally, I would love the chance to see Okonkwo in the book Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe too.

I'll first ask him about his family and his relationship with his father, Unoka. I would love to hear his thoughts on the arrival of the missionaries and their impact on Igbo society because I know him as a traditionalist. I would also like to understand what Okonkwo thinks of his own failures. He's a tragic Hero whose death was his own fault. And I hated this so much.

I would have loved to understand what he thinks about his mistakes and what he could have done differently. Okonkwo was presumably hard to talk to because he's arrogant and stubborn but it would still be a productive discussion. If I had the chance to meet him I would have asked Mr. Okonkwo the following questions:

What do you think about your father, Unoka? What were your concerns when the missionaries arrived in Umuofia? How would you rate the progress taking place in Igbo society today? How would you rate your own frustrations, especially with your people? What would you do differently if you could go back in time?

I believe these questions will help me understand Okonkwo's personality and motives and I know I can learn a lot from him as well.

This is my entry to the Hive Bookclub community contest #10 and I would love to invite @iskawrites @princessbusayo to participate in the competition

I love the work of Harry Potter too, learning from his magical expertise is one good decision to take, and I believe Harry Potter will accept you to be his student because he is an humble man, riding with broom sounds like something cool.

I admired Okonkwo's personality a lot. And even though he met a tragic end due to his incessant anger issues, he was a wise man whose views were compelling. I think I would like to know his reaction to the current ongoings in our society.
And Sherlock, would just be to dazzle myself with his witty mind and intelligence. Really wonderful characters @edystringz. Love it.🌺

We already know you are a detective in the city so I am not surprised that you love Sherlock Holmes.

But girl, flying on a broom in this age when the witches from your village are doing a better job at it gave me a good laugh 😂😂😂

Oh, Things fall apart. I love that book and Okonkwo but I can't bring myself to read it again because I was really heartbroken over the events that led to his death 🥲
