My carnival vacation trip - Storytime ✨ [ESP/ENG]
Hola amigos de Hive ❤️ hoy les quiero compartir una pequeña recopilación de lo que fueron mis vacaciones de carnaval en Pto la Cruz estado Anzoategui. Desde hace varios años, ya tenemos como una especie de tradición pasarla en este estado, específicamente en el municipio de Guanta, ya que allí se acostumbra en carnavales anteriores celebrarlo de una manera súper alegre, divertida y particularmente con sorpresas muy especiales.
Cómo siempre, salimos muy temprano a la primera hora de la mañana, aproximadamente a las 7:00am para aprovechar al máximo el día al llegar además de no encontrarnos tráfico en la vía, algo bastante común los fines de semana. Unas semanas antes de viajar, habían llegado unas visitas muy especiales de ese lugar y miembros de mi familia por parte de mi mamá, mi abuela y mi prima de 6 años, ellas nos hicieron compañía durante siete días y acordamos luego regresarnos todos juntos para pasar esas fechas por allá , en su ciudad natal. Las vistas como siempre eran espectaculares con el mar a un costado, un paisaje ideal para tomar fotografías, en un ambiente montañoso y nublado por el clima frío de la mañana y la brisa de la playa. El tiempo de viaje entre ambas ciudades es de aproximadamente 1 hora y media a 2 horas, eso depende de cuántas paradas hagas para descansar o comer las típicas empanadas de la vía hechas con mariscos ubicadas en la entrada del parque nacional Mochima. La verdad es que se podría decir que ya estoy un poco acostumbrada a esta ruta, muy característica además de causar mareos por la cantidad de curvas, sin embargo no se puede negar que apreciar estás vistas es un maravilla y un momento para desconectar y desestresarse por todo el estrés y la rutina del día a día, así que creo que no me cansaré de este viaje que suelo hacer bastante seguido y agradezco tenerlo y disfrutarlo en cada viaje.
El primer día que llegamos comenzaban los eventos programados, grupos musicales de Calipso, canciones muy típicas del país y de la ocasiones al celebrarse cada carnaval, y por su puesto los desfiles de disfraces y carrozas, aunque este año por la situación no fueron como los que estaba acostumbrada, tengo que agradecer que aún así la tradición no se pierde, niños con lindos trajes, reinas de todas las edades, disfraces raros, divertidos y bizarros y las clásicas carrozas con temáticas súper alegres, coloridas, brillantes, con mucha escarcha y caramelos volando por doquier!!
Entre cada día, también aproveche de visitar otros lugares del estado, como pasar por lecheria y recorrer sus playas, comercios y ni hablar de las lindas vistas con un atardecer súper espectacular, justo en ese lugar llamado playa mansa, se encontraba un columpio en dónde te podías tomar las mejores fotografías en ese escenario con la naturaleza de fondo, pasar un rato relajante escuchando el sonido del mar, sentados comiendo algo y charlando por horas amigos y seres queridos.
Y como amante de los animales especialmente de los perros, no pude evitar jugar y tomarme fotos con la mascota de una prima, un pequeño poodle de color café, muy simpático y mordelon sobre todo. Me dió mucha nostalgia jugar y estar con él porque me recordó a mis anteriores mascotas que también tenían esa personalidad juguetona. Al siguiente día de terminar nos regresamos a casa con muchas ganas de volver y compartir más momentos como este!

Hello friends of Hive ❤️ today I want to share with you a small compilation of what was my carnival vacation in Pto la Cruz, Anzoategui state. For several years, we already have as a kind of tradition to spend it in this state, specifically in the municipality of Guanta, as there it is customary in previous carnivals to celebrate it in a super cheerful, fun and particularly with very special surprises.
As always, we left very early in the morning, approximately at 7:00 am to make the most of the day upon arrival and to avoid traffic on the road, something quite common on weekends. A few weeks before traveling, some very special visitors had arrived from that place and members of my family, my mom, my grandmother and my 6 year old cousin, they kept us company for seven days and then we agreed to return all together to spend those dates there, in their hometown. The views as always were spectacular with the sea on one side, an ideal landscape to take pictures, in a mountainous and cloudy environment due to the cold weather in the morning and the breeze from the beach. The travel time between both cities is approximately 1 hour and a half to 2 hours, depending on how many stops you make to rest or eat the typical empanadas made with seafood located at the entrance of the Mochima National Park. The truth is that you could say that I'm already a little used to this route, very characteristic besides causing dizziness by the amount of curves, however you can not deny that appreciate these views is a wonder and a time to disconnect and de-stress from all the stress and routine of everyday life, so I think I will not get tired of this trip that I usually do quite often and I appreciate having it and enjoy it on every trip.
The first day we arrived the programmed events began, Calypso music groups, very typical songs of the country and of the occasions when each carnival was celebrated, and of course the parades of costumes and floats, although this year because of the situation were not like the ones I was used to, I have to thank that even so the tradition is not lost, children with beautiful costumes, queens of all ages, weird, funny and bizarre costumes and the classic floats with super cheerful, colorful, bright, with lots of frosting and candy flying everywhere! !
Between each day, I also took the opportunity to visit other places in the state, such as lecheria and visit its beaches, stores and not to mention the beautiful views with a super spectacular sunset, right in that place called playa mansa, there was a swing where you could take the best pictures in that scenario with nature in the background, spend a relaxing time listening to the sound of the sea, sitting eating something and chatting for hours with friends and loved ones.
And as an animal lover, especially dogs, I couldn't help but play and take pictures with a cousin's pet, a little brown poodle, very friendly and chewy above all. It made me very nostalgic to play and be with him because he reminded me of my previous pets that also had that playful personality. The next day after finishing we went back home looking forward to come back and share more moments like this!
