Nuevamente estoy por aquí hablando un poco más de un pasado que nos alegra recordar. Pero en esta oportunidad no hablaré de dibujos animados, por lo menos no aquí. En esta oportunidad quiero mencionar algunas series que, de seguro, recordaremos juntos en este paseo por la pequeña pantalla que nos contagia de risas, alegrías, emociones y aventuras. Hablar de estas producciones me hace hacerme una pregunta ¿Son mejores las series en los 80s o 90s que en la actualidad? Bueno, no es que no haya producciones buenas, pero son muy escasas por así decirlo. Y las pocas que están, son parte de la evolución de la televisión. Dado el hecho que ahora las mayorías de producciones, malas o buenas, son para cadenas como: Netflix, HBO, Disney, entre otras.
Once again I am here talking a little more about a past that we are happy to remember. But this time I will not talk about cartoons, at least not here. In this opportunity I want to mention some series that, for sure, we will remember together in this walk through the small screen that infects us with laughter, joy, emotions and adventures. Talking about these productions makes me ask myself a question: Are the series better in the 80s or 90s than nowadays? Well, it's not that there are no good productions, but they are very scarce, so to speak. And the few that are, are part of the evolution of television. Given the fact that now most productions, bad or good, are for networks such as Netflix, HBO, Disney, among others.
En mi opinión, nos todos tienen para obtener o más bien, mantener el servicio activo. Por lo menos es mi caso. Eso es un gasto que muchas veces no puedo cubrir. Tener una suscripción a cada una de esas cadenas televisivas deben ser un costo aproximadamente de 10$ mensuales. Un lujo que yo en la actualidad no puedo cubrir. Sin agregar el gasto del televisor por cable, o sea el satelital el cual es un costo adicional. Insisto, es un lujo que no todos se pueden dar.

En estos días que hubo muchas fallas de electricidad en la ciudad donde vivo, el servicio de televisión fue uno de los más afectados y en mis momentos de descansos, me gusta estar acostado en cama viendo algún programa de televisor o alguna película que estén transmitiendo. Pero eso no podía ocurrir dado a los cortes de electricidad por la zona donde se encuentra la compañía de televisión por cable. Entonces desempolvé algunas cajas de películas en Dvd en donde me encontré con la serie del Príncipe del Rap. Serie que vi a la edad de qué, 8 o 10 años y que increíble me sentí cuando empecé a verla. Por eso quiero recordar algunas de esas series que, de seguro, también forman parte de la historia de ustedes.

But that couldn't happen because of the power outages in the area where the cable company is located. So I dusted off some DVD movie boxes where I came across the Prince of Rap series. Series that I saw at the age of what, 8 or 10 years old and how incredible I felt when I started watching it. That's why I want to remember some of those series that, for sure, are also part of your history.
Recuerdan esa familia disfuncional donde el humor negro, los gestos, la incorreción política, y los estereotipos eran las tramas principales de esta loca familia. Sí, hablo de ¨Casados con hijo¨ Una serie de comedia norteamericana que arraso por mucho tiempo en el mercado televisivo catalogándose en una de las mejores series de la década. Donde Ed O’Neill sin duda, fue un personaje que siempre dio de que hablar. Un hombre comprometido por su trabajo, pero inconforme con sus resultados, una esposa que decía ser ama de casa pero ni el agua le servía los invitados, y unos hijos con poco futuro. Y vaya que decir todo esto es poco. Pero sin duda reflejaban parte de una población afectada por las políticas empleadas en la época. Esta sin duda fue una de las series que marcó un ciclo importante en lo que comedia se trababa.
Remember that dysfunctional family where black humor, gestures, political incorrectness, and stereotypes were the main plots of this crazy family. Yes, I'm talking about ¨Casados con hijo¨, an American comedy series that swept the television market for a long time, becoming one of the best series of the decade. Where Ed O'Neill was undoubtedly a character that always gave something to talk about. A man committed to his work, but dissatisfied with its results, a wife who claimed to be a housewife but not even the water served the guests, and children with little future. And to say all this is an understatement. But they undoubtedly reflected part of a population affected by the policies employed at the time. This was undoubtedly one of the series that marked an important cycle in terms of comedy.

Esta la podría considerar como una de mis favoritas. Hablaba de un padre que había quedado recientemente viudo junto a sus tres hijas. Esta serie fue una de mis favoritas. Si, sin dudarlo… Divertida, atractiva y muy emotiva producción que cautivo a gran parte del mundo. Un tío musico y un gran amigo de Danny (papá de las chicas) que hacían los días aún más divertidos. Esta producción trajo a los personajes 30 años después. Aquí, serán las niñas ya siendo adultas, quienes cuidarán de su padre y tíos. Estas series tengo que volver a verlas. Son preciadas tardes las que llevo en mi memoria viendo esta serie.
This one could be considered one of my favorites. It was about a father who was recently widowed with his three daughters. This series was one of my favorites. Yes, without hesitation... Funny, engaging and very emotional production that captivated much of the world. A musician uncle and a great friend of Danny (the girls' dad) made the days even more fun. This production brought back the characters 30 years later. Here, it will be the girls as adults, who will take care of their father and uncles. I have to watch these series again. I have precious afternoons in my memory watching this series.

Y bueno, claro que como niño fui fanático de aquel extraterrestre, peludo, hablador y con un gran apetito por los gatos jajaja… Si amigos, habla de gran Alf. Este personaje tuve un peluche que recuerdo claramente que mi hermana se asustaba jajaja…
No era tan feo, creo que ella siempre ha sido dramática jajaja…. Recuerdo que hace años, un conocido me comentó que el niño, ese amigo de Alf, al crecer, se había convertido en Marilyn Manson y bueno, por un tiempo le creí. Hasta que un día por total curiosidad busque esa información que me habían dicho. Y bueno, creo que ese era el día de los inocentes. Pues la información era falsa. Este extraño extraterrestre convivía con la familia Tanner. Familia que tuvo que ir adaptándose a este extraño inquilino. Pero mientras fueron adaptándose a él, sin darse cuenta, estaban conociendo a un miembro más de esa familia. Me encantaba el opening de esa serie ¡Qué buena!
And well, of course as a child I was a fan of that alien, hairy, talkative and with a big appetite for cats hahaha... Yes friends, talk about big Alf. This character I had a stuffed animal that I remember clearly that my sister was scared hahaha... It was not so ugly, I think she has always been dramatic hahaha.... I remember years ago, an acquaintance told me that the boy, that friend of Alf's, as he grew up, had become Marilyn Manson and well, for a while I believed him. Until one day out of total curiosity I looked up the information I had been told. And well, I guess that was April Fool's Day. Well, the information was false. This strange extraterrestrial lived with the Tanner family. Family that had to adapt to this strange tenant. But while they were adapting to him, without realizing it, they were getting to know one more member of that family. I loved the opening of that series, it was so good!

Brutal recordar la televisión de la época, yo de niño vacilaba Alf, los halcones galácticos y los centuriones. 3 x 3 era un must watch jajaja. Y ya en plano rock viendo MTV el programa Headbangers a las 12 de la noche para tripear lo más nuevo del rock en aquel momento. Que días. Saludos.
Es que tú eres más viejo que yo jajajaja... Vermo que loco Los halcones galácticos... Esos eran brutales... Y bueno, yo vine viendo MTV mucho después que tú. Pero concuerdo contigo en ¨Que días¨ INOLVIDABLES. Gracias por la visito bro... Y que bueno verte por estos lares. Estoy a la orden para cualquier duda. Alf sin duda marco la infancia de muchos y el temor de otros a las criaturas extrañas y come gatos de la época que si mal no recuerdo mi imaginación como la de millones de niños era una locura y toto lo que pasaba por nuestras mentes era un pedazo de eso que sentíamos que era real. Hasta que creces y descubres la verdad sobre todo, pero aun queda en tu memoria esos lindos recuerdos.
no recuerdo si lo pasaban por TELEVEN o RCTV lo que si se es que mi mama era muy fan es por ella que veíamos la serie y además solo teníamos una sola T.V en esa época. Wow que tiempos aquellos la verdad de esos que es muy difícil que se repitan.

Bro!! si no me equivoco fue por Rctv que lo transmitían. Bueno, en aquella época Radio caracas televisión. Y si vale, grandes recuerdos que nos quedan grabados por siempre. Como desearía ser niño y estar en esa misma época...
ahhh ok listo... Vaya RCTV tenia muy buena programación creo que fue el canal que nos abrió las puertas a grandes series que sin dudarlo estoy seguro que muchos volveríamos a ver.
Claro... Por ejemplo, MacGyver fue una jajaja... Cada domingo era fijó que mi papá se sentaba a verla y yo aprovechaba y la veía con él. Era como el compartir un día con papá jajaja
