Hoy me siento más niño que ayer… Para esta ocasión el viaje al pasado caricaturesco será super interesante y vaya que también emocionante. Una de las razones que más conmueve este tipo de reseñas es el recordar esa etapa que tan importante fue en nuestra vida. Como dije en mi anterior post, nuestra niñez es la base de lo que seremos cuando seamos grandes y por supuesto que la educación y la diversión, es la materia principal de ese pilar.
Today I feel more like a child than yesterday... For this occasion the journey into the cartoonish past will be super interesting and exciting. One of the most touching reasons for this kind of reviews is to remember that stage that was so important in our lives. As I said in my previous post, our childhood is the basis of what we will be when we grow up and of course education and fun is the main subject of that pillar.
Hay cosas que nunca pasaran de moda como por ejemplo los dibujos animados. En mi publicación anterior el amigo @oki.doki dio con un punto muy importante en la evolución de estas series que divierten mucho a los niños y a familias enteras. El progreso creativo de lo que conocemos como dibujos animados, por supuesto como todo ha ido en crecimiento tecnológico de pasar hacer creados a lápiz a llegar a una mini pantalla de dibujo llevando la producción del mismo digitalmente. Tal vez, con esta nueva tecnología la creación sea menos complicada. Debe ser por eso que han perdido tanto la creatividad no solo de crear personajes interesantes si no, de darle una vida más allá de una pantalla, un nombre. A lo que me refiero, es que no creo que de esta nueva etapa caricaturesca, quede algo para mis nietos. Sin embargo, estoy seguro que seguiremos recordando y observando ahora en plataformas streaming estos grandes clásicos. Por ejemplo, estos clásicos que estado nombrando y recordando con ustedes, marcaron una época y lo más importante, ayudaron a educar y aportar valores que perviven hoy en día. Aquí no hubo juicio o controversias absurdas como ahora viven esos clásicos caricaturescos.
There are some things that will never go out of fashion, such as cartoons. In my previous post my friend @oki.doki came up with a very important point in the evolution of these series that entertain children and entire families. The creative progress of what we know as cartoons, of course as everything has been in technological growth from pencil drawings to a mini drawing screen taking the production of the same digitally. Perhaps, with this new technology the creation is less complicated. That must be why they have lost so much of the creativity not only to create interesting characters but also to give them a life beyond a screen, a name. What I mean is that I don't think there will be anything left for my grandchildren from this new cartoon era. However, I am sure that we will continue to remember and watch these great classics now on streaming platforms. For example, these classics that I have been naming and remembering with you, marked an era and most importantly, helped to educate and bring values that survive today. Here there was no judgement or absurd controversy as these cartoon classics live on today.
El caso más cercano que recuerdo, es el de un personaje icono de los Looney Tunes como Pepe Le Pew el cual fue penalizado gracias a una columna que sacó el mismo The New York Times criticando al francés zorrillo por el motivo de inculcar violencia sexual. Yo de niño, ni de adulto, lo hubiera visto de esa manera. Creo que era una persona poco aceptada por su apestoso aroma y donde el mismo, solo buscaba el cariño y afecto de los demás. Pero cuando queremos buscar excusas para dejar mal a alguien, hay miles. ¿Pero nunca puede ver el otro lado de la historia?

En fin, les decía al principio que me sentía hoy más niño que ayer porque las caricaturas que hoy mencionaré fueron parte do otras grandes tardes en compañía del televisor de casa, con mi hermana, con la familia. Espero que este nuevo viaje al pasado caricaturesco, sea todo de su agrado. Así que empecemos este paseo en el año 1940.

A ver, hablo del famoso Woody o mejor conocido como el Pájaro Loco. Increíblemente con una edad que supera los 80 años, este personaje sigue siendo un icono para el mundo animado. Este alocado personaje fue diseñado por Walter Lantz y nace de unas vacaciones con su esposa. Este personaje fue acompañado con otros personajes que también hicieron el triunfo de esta caricatura. Personajes como: Pablo Morsa, Chilly Willy y muchos más…

Nos vamos tres años después del nacimiento de Woody. Y llegamos a 1943 año para el nacimiento de otro gran personaje caricaturesco. Este con una apariencia a un Basset hound pero con una increíble fuerza capaz de poner a cualquier villano de cabeza. El éxito de este personaje fue tanto que empezaron a salir productos con su imagen. Juguetes, peluches, hasta productos comestibles. Hablo de ese personaje que está donde menos lo esperas… Si, el famoso Droopy. Quien también los acompañaron personajes como el Lobo que hicieron la caricatura mucha mas atractiva y divertida.

Nuevamente abordamos la nave y nos vamos a 1964 donde las aventuras de una heroína pareja de padre e hijo y amigos, estaban dispuesto a conocer el mundo, pero para conseguir ese objetivo, se encontrarían con diversos problemas donde llegaban. Hablo de Jonny Quest. Un niño de 11 años quien seguía a su papá, uno de los científicos más importantes del mundo. Pero el ingenio del padre era importante para otros y buscaban tener ese ingenio, de alguna forma. Por eso siempre se enfrentaban a unas grandes aventuras para salvar sus vidas. Esta serie animada era una de las que más veía con mi papá. Creo la pasaban los domingos y por eso siempre estaba mi papá en casa. Y bueno, cada quien tenia su hora de ver televisor. Él se quedaba conmigo o se ponía hacer otras cosas. Pero recuerdo a mi papá siendo parte de mi equipo en esta aventura con Jonny…

He would stay with me or he would do other things. But I remember my dad being part of my team in this adventure with Jonny...

This has been one of the most enjoyable trips I have had with all these memories. Without a doubt, to remember is to feel alive. And in this case, a child. So you know, don't be separated for too long from these parts, this story will continue.
