Bueno ya saben, ayer fue domingo y no les repetiré toda la rutina de mis domingos en familia lo que si, es que ayer fue un día especial para nosotros ya que nuestro pilar principal estaba de cumpleaños, mi madre. Una mujer que sin duda nos ha enseñado que aún en las peores circunstancias debemos ser fuertes y nunca perder la fe ni mucho menos nuestros principios. Ayer antes de irnos a comer torta pasamos un rato muy divertido con Luna pues desde hace un tiempo hemos estado experimentando con ella sus reacciones cuando ve aquellas clásicas películas de nuestra infancia y la de muchos de ustedes.

Well, you know, yesterday was Sunday, and I won't repeat my whole Sunday routine with my family, but yesterday was a special day for us because it was our main pillar's birthday, my mother. A woman who has undoubtedly taught us that even in the worst circumstances, we must be strong and never lose faith, much less our principles. Yesterday, before going out to eat cake, we had a lot of fun with Luna because for some time now we've been experimenting with her reactions when she watches those classic movies from our childhood and that of many of you.

Esta es una película que he vi infinidades de veces cuando era pequeño y la verdad es que verla después de tanto tiempo y ahora en compañía de mi Luna, hace revivir en mi memoria muchos recuerdos. Debo de admitir que pensé que por la época y sus efectos a Luna no le iba a agradar y se iba aburrir rápidamente pero no fue así. Luna desde el principio se quedó muy atenta y bueno, también hizo bastantes preguntas ja ja ja... normal creo yo, tal vez tuve las mismas cuando era niño. Lo que si, es que Doris y yo, nos quedábamos boquiabiertos viendo la seriedad con la que Luna disfrutaba de la película que debo aclarar es de las más populares de los 80.

This is a movie I saw countless times when I was little, and the truth is that seeing it again after so long, and now in the company of my Luna, brings back many memories. I must admit that I thought that because of the era and its effects, Luna wouldn't like it and would get bored quickly, but that wasn't the case. From the beginning, Luna was very attentive and, well, she also asked quite a few questions, ha ha ha... which I think is normal; maybe I had the same questions when I was a child. What is certain is that Doris and I were amazed to see how seriously Luna enjoyed the movie, which, I should point out, is one of the most popular films of the 1980s.

La película más que una simple comedia se profundiza mucho más como una gran aventura y quizás fue eso lo que llamó la atención de Luna pues creo que jamás hubiera imaginado su mente, una aventura de tal escala. Tanto, que la mantuvo firme y tranquila por una hora y media ja ja ja... Realmente fue un momento de calma que no nos hubiéramos imaginado aun teniendo en cuenta que es un clásico de los 80 o por lo menos, creo y considero que es un clásico del cine. Nunca pensé que está película fuera una buena opción para una tarde de domingo pero no cabe duda que cumple con ser una historia entretenida para los más chicos en casa.

The film is more than just a comedy; it delves much deeper into a great adventure, and perhaps that was what caught Luna's attention, as I don't think she could ever have imagined an adventure on such a scale. So much so that it kept her still and quiet for an hour and a half, ha ha ha... It was truly a moment of calm that we would never have imagined, even considering that it is a classic from the 80s, or at least, I believe and consider it to be a classic film. I never thought this movie would be a good choice for a Sunday afternoon, but there is no doubt that it is an entertaining story for the little ones at home.

Una de las escenas que más sorprendió a Luna fue la de la hormiga o la del niño en la cuchara con cereales. Ella gritaba "está ahí está ahí velooooo... No te lo comas.." que increíble fue poder presenciar tan divertido y entretenido momento, era ella con sus gritos intentando ayudar a los niños que se encontraban encogidos. Cada escena es una aventura y eso sin duda logra atraer a los más pequeños de casa. Quizás mi mamá hizo lo mismo conmigo, o sea, ponerme la película para dejar de fastidiarla por una hora ja ja ja...

One of the scenes that surprised Luna the most was the one with the ant or the one with the child in the spoon with cereal. She was screaming, “It's there, it's there, look... Don't eat it...” How incredible it was to witness such a fun and entertaining moment, it was her with her screams trying to help the children who were cowering. Each scene is an adventure, and that certainly attracts the little ones at home. Maybe my mom did the same thing with me, that is, put on the movie to get me to stop bothering her for an hour, ha ha ha...

Creo que esa sensación que sentía de niño la vivió Luna y nunca llegue a pensar que le causaría la misma sensación a ella. Abejas, trozos de galleta enormes, riadas de barro, un escorpión que se mueve a trompicones, dormir en una ficha de lego, montar una hormiga, los padres colgados y suspendidos sobre el jardín ante la mirada del vecino pescador ja ja ja la verdad, puro cine familiar ochentero. Esto más que una reseña es un momento de familia que quise compartir con ustedes pues quizás, sus pequeños en casa pueden vivir esta experiencia y disfrutar de "Querida encogí a los niños" como lo hizo Luna así que bueno, para el próximo domingo quizás veamos: Querida, agrandé al niño.
