Hola mis amigas de esta comunidad, encantadísima de poder presentarles mi entrada al TO THE 102nd EDITION of the LADIES OF HIVE COMMUNITY CONTEST

Cuando era una niña de tan solo 6 años vivíamos en una hacienda donde disfrutábamos de jugar con cosas tan sencillas pero eran tan importantes para nosotros, y una de las cosas que nos gustaba jugar a mis hermanos y a mí era bañarnos en el agua de lluvia y era tan gratificante el olor que desprendía la arena cuando le estaban cayendo las gotas de lluvia (evaporación) que ya de inmediato se activaba en nuestro cerebro una sensación de felicidad porque que después de eso llovería mucho y podíamos salir a jugar con unos cuantos potes de plástico con agujeros y los colocábamos en los canales del techo y el agua caía al pote y salía por los agujeros como una regadera.

El café si me considero bebedora de café, y lo he heredado de mis padres. Les cuento que mi padre era encargado de una finca y se debía levantar a las tres de la mañana todos los días para salir a buscar al personal y distribuirlos en las vaqueras donde hacían la labor de ordeño y mi madre hacia su café a las tres de la mañana para que mi padre no saliera de la casa sin antes tomar su taza de café, ella decía que el café lo tomaba mi padre para despistar el sueño. Y bueno mis amigas yo adopte esa tradición yo no salgo a trabajar sin antes tomar café con el desayuno o mejor dicho yo debo preparar una taza de café todos los días en la mañana. Es tan agradable sentir ese aroma a café al inicio del día. Y bueno al llegar al trabajo me dan otra taza de café allí si casi siempre la acompañan con galletas o pan, y en la merienda de la tarde generalmente es una taza de café con alguna galleta o sencillamente solo para inspirarme a escribir.

La tradición aquí en mi país, no se en otros países es dar café durante los velorios, según para que los que acompañan al muerto en la noche puedan amanecer, pero a mí el café no me quita el sueño, me pone de buen humor sí, pero no me quita el sueño.
Una de las formas en las que tomo el café es acompañarlo con leche, es muy bueno queda increíble.
Los olores son tan encantadores, bueno, ¡la mayoría de las veces! Si pudieras ser cualquier aroma, ¿cuál sería y por qué? ¿Qué recuerdos, si es que hay alguno, le trae a la mente su elección?

Cuando llega una visita los recibimos con una taza de café, es muy poco que yo conozca que no le guste, pero podemos hacer una visita a todas las casas de mi barrio y en todas conseguiremos una olla especial para hacer café y una coladera de café.

I tell you that my father was in charge of a farm and had to get up at three in the morning every day to go out to look for the staff and distribute them in the cowsheds where they did the work of milking and my mother made her coffee at three in the morning so that my father did not leave the house without first drinking his cup of coffee, she said that my father drank coffee to throw off sleep. Bañarse bajo la lluvia es uno de los placeres de la vida 😅 yo también lo hacía con mis hermanos y hace poco ya de adulta lo hice 😂 me sentí como una niña.
Normalmente uno adquiere de sus padres ese hábito de tomar café, pero es delicioso 😻

Hola amiga edithb, ciertamente el olor a tierra mojada tiene algo especial que despierta gratamente nuestros sentidos, a mi me encanta. Recuerdo que mi abuela decía:
y yo, vaa pueess! si muerta ni huelo, ni hablo ni nada jaja! creencias ancestrales. Bañarse en la lluvia de niños es un encanto que creo que todos tuvimos la oportunidad de disfrutar, ahorita no me gusta mucho porque apenas me cae una llovizna, me enfermo; tu sabes, los años no pasan en vano. Imagino que por la alusión de dar café en los velorios eres venezolana? jeje yo lo soy y falconiana amiga y somos cafeteros a mil por hora, también se da café en los velorios pero aun así, nadie amanece a menos que sea familiar cercano; fue muy grato leerte. Hola amiga, si hay momentos en nuestras vidas que muchas veces quisiéramos retroceder la niñez nos deja un muy grato recuerdo ahora queda es disfrutarlo con los hijos...y si el café tiene una gran importancia para las familias venezolanas, es cultura, es compartir, es tradición. Hola amiga, en Cuba también se da café en los velorios y se brinda en cada visita, es la bebida más consumida en la isla. Y sí, el olor de la tierra mojada, que te puedo decir, mi Post del concurso va de eso, de ese aroma insustituible. Saludos desde la Habana !!!
