To those it may concern:

I tag leofinance and proofofbrain in every post.

Sometimes I get shit for tagging leo 100% of the time because it's supposed to be financial niche. I suppose the worry here is that I'm milking the reward pool and siphoning off value from a common resource that perhaps I shouldn't get based on the ideals outlined in the community guidelines.

Then again I put way more value into LEO than I take out, so at a certain point that argument becomes pretty irrelevant. This is especially true when considering that I use the tags to decentralize tokens to those who comment on my work. I pay for engagement out of my own pocket, and I use all three of my stacks to do it (Hive/LEO/POB).

Conclusion

Certainly there's also at least one person that doesn't realized I've tipped them with two different Hive engine tokens.

See for yourself.

Crypto is all about finding money you never knew you had.

Hopefully this helps someone.

And so, without further ado, I will now heavily upvote comments that either are "quality content" or just originate from account I recognize and have a rapport with. Reputation matters.

Aren't like.. all your posts got at least something to do with finance? I mean.. just a reference to crypto is itself... finance. also... financial niche? financial is a bloody huge broad topic, nothing niche about it xD

If people are really bothered about it they should be downvoting.. but where are the downvotes? no where to be see so guess they Aren't as bothered as they make out to be.

I say continue as you do and let the haters hate. :D

As long as it's something LEOish related I don't see an issue with it at all. In fact I tag a ton of places as there are many other tokens that are just general. It's interesting though we haven't seen a new platform launch for a while around a community for a while there it seemed like an almost weekly thing. Wonder what's changed or if I'm just missing it.

#proofofbrain is a general-purpose tag; why would anyone complain about its use? 99% of your posts are directly or indirectly #leofinance related. Meh, some people just need to complain.

It's actually a pretty rare occurrence and even then the accusation is passive-aggressive.

I've been away for a while and I totally forgot about the other tokens... the money I never knew I had. I spent the past 15 minutes trying to figure things out with my wallet. I remember PAL, and I know about LEO and Splinterlands, but I was quite mystified about some of the tokens there. Since I didn't want to do anything stupid, I logged out. After all, tomorrow is another day!

I can't say that I've ever seen you not make financial related content but I'm sure it happens. I see their point but as @shmoogleosukami already pointed out they can always use their stake to downvote it if you're misusing the tag. I would love to see downvotes more normalized overall despite my limited usage of them. I think it's a valuable tool we have on content scoring.

You're one of the #1 authors I read on-chain.

Did I miss something? I heard vote police are out there more frequently than usual of late, especially on one of @whatsup's posts recently

I have no idea what you are talking about with most of this. There are days I think I might do better to look into these tokens, and those tags, and whatnot, maybe find some crypto I didn't know I had. But most days, I just want to add my little voice to the great blockchain and be happy with only that.

Since I mainly post about crypto on hive, Every post could get Leo finance. If there's absolutely nothing about a coin or markets or money or finance then no I won't use it but I don't see anything wrong with engaging in the communities. We need people to use the tags and tokens otherwise what's the point

#proofofbrain is present also in all my post, but personally I try to limit the #leofinance tag for posts that are created around a financial topic.

I don't really know how many people use the tags to read content for a specific topic. What I do, when I want to read some finance blogging, I go to leofinance.io and read there the hot posts. And if I see one cool but not finance related post, it's like entertainment for me ...

The issue I see is that if everyone will flood #leofinance or #leo with everything, this will then become irrelevant, and another #palnet.

I haven't seen a problem with any post you've made and tagged.

I hope we don't get into petty reward police issues on Leo.

Keep posting and ignore.

I love that all your posts are on leo because that's where I look for them. I don't want to have to chase you all over the chain. I find value in all your posts and you support everyone in all the ecosystems so don't change and make it harder for me to find you.

I don't really know what happened but you are one of the top authors around here in my opinion.

I can't remember of a single post I read and thought "yea this doesn't belong in here"

Anyway, keep up the good work and I hope the move goes smoothly.

Tagging with the user and using the tag are different, right ? I guess, tagging with the user is considered spam, of course, if they do not like. Many people tag us in comments as well. Community guidelines are meant as a general purpose guidance, but then if people do not like, then they can downvote. I see, leovoter supports you, so where is the issue ?

Yes, tagging people is different than tagging communities and topics at the bottom of a post.

And if people are really concerned then they should downvote, which is not the case.

Well I like the value your posts gives and it always gives me a few things to think about even if its not 100% pure financial content. So I wouldn't bother about what the haters do.

An almost unrelated question do you have any documentation about WORKERBEE, like how it is generated or what is cap limited. I had been asking in a few discord groups but didn't got answers. Hope you don't mind you seem like a senior hive memeber who often posts about finance, can you help?

I've given up expecting only finance posts on LeoFinance. Seems to be filled with a ton of gaming stuff these days. Much has changed. It's clear the main focus of the "team" 😂 is now the CUB stuff. Shame really. I learned alot on Leo Finance when I first came across it. Not so much these days.

Hope your move across country goes smoothly. 😊

As you are one of my favorite authors on Hive, I read your posts regularly. I don't remember any of your posts irrelevant to finance. You carry the financial risk of Hive blockchain tokens by hodling them and publish informative and entertaining articles every day. It is normal that you would earn some amount of money. I can empathize with you very well because I was also criticized at Steemit for unrelated reasons, at the time when I was one of the most popular bloggers. I believe that the root cause is jealousy.

im following you since early 2021 and finds amazing content on your feed. I always enjoy your content because it is full of knowledge and new stuff. Your hard work deserve reward and you are getting it for your hard work and deep study in crypto field. thanks for sharing cool stuff.

I think everyone should post on any tag they want. If the content doesn't wanted by a community it can be downvoted or ignored.

And so, without further ado, I will now heavily upvote comments that either are "quality content" or just originate from account I recognize and have a rapport with. Reputation matters.

I always upvote comments because i think there are more important most time than the content itself.

Comments mean user engagement. It is also some of hive´s superpowers.

Btw, if you want to play at some point a round of sc2 ( squadron TD for example), hit me up on twitter :D

IF Leofinance wants to be the blockchain Wall Street Journal, than the content should be similar. WSJ is known for a variety of quality content, therefore using the tag is advancing the Leofinance brand and reputation. Also a wider variety of SE keywords.

I shamelessly do this too. I think as long as we add value to the platform we should be able to get a little back regardless if it's "on topic". Good luck with your move!

Leofinance is a platform that provides many opportunities not only in

Knowledge.
Income.
Persons.

But it has many new projects that make us include ourselves more among them every day.

Cubfinance.
Hivestats
Leopedia
Leofi
Leodex

Making the user experience can cover more than their needs, it also has a great team.
It is a place that from the day you arrive you will not want to leave Leofinacen.io

Sometimes this drives away people that would have otherwise like you do make valuable contributions through your staking, engagement and curation, its a very tribalistic approach and shouldnt matter if you are tagging one front end or the other as long as your topic is related to that tag.

I had a similar issue a few weeks back were I was told off for using the leo tag on a pob post aimed at curating and rewarding egagement, simply because it was not specifically about leo.

I deemed this as a finance and hive community based post but another more established user disagreed and said my post was designed to harvest rewards.

I found this very disrespectful and discouraging and stoped posting in the leo front end because of this when it is not directly related to leo.

Its a shame these things happen especially when you stake your rewards in an attempt to build a brand and add value to the communities you use.

I stake all my tokens and will continue to do so to add value to those that create original and interesting content or as you say those with which I have a good rapor with.

Either way enjoyed the read, Thanks for sharing
