Oh cool my very first on-chain death-threat!

AH YEAH!

This counts as a death threat, right?
It's a bit indirect, but I feel like it counts.

I think I understand now why there is so much drama with politically motivated downvotes on this platform. We got people running around completely disassociated with reality around here. True story; myriad examples. Including this one.

Tell me, how deep do you have to be within your own web of delusions of persecution and grandeur to accuse a known historically poor person of being bourgeoisie class? Not only that, but marked for death during the next French Revolution 2.0? Yikes.

  • I don't own a car.
  • My computer is 5 years old.
  • My rent is $400 a month (2 bedroom apartment split 3 ways).
  • Yeah bro I'm living the fucking high life over here.

goldbitcoinchain.jpg

Delusions of persecution:

the average American can't afford $400 emergency.
you got over 200k in your portfolio.

It makes me laugh, because I have legit gone on record at least 3 or 4 times on-chain warning everyone around here to not flaunt their wealth in exactly that way. I've told people to not buy that Lambo because flaunting status symbols in the future could be dangerous for this exact reason. Of course I'm only half joking. Time will tell.

Delusions of grandeur:

i can't protect you anymore

How powerless must one be before they have to contort themselves into the mental gymnastic required to make a statement like this? Like, what? Thanks for the comedy show, friend. It's been a delight.

So what do we see when we look at the @mykos account on-chain?

  • A lot of gambling activity in the wallet.
  • Effectively zero stake (25 HP for RCs).
  • A coin on HiveEngine (bitcoinmyk)

I see a blog with very little support that I could easily downvote to zero myself if I wanted to. I'm clearly well within my rights to do so at this point, and I was very close. But he's got upvotes from a couple accounts I respect so that gave me pause.

That being said I remember back to my Diablo 2 RPG days. Wow, it's been a while! You know what I learned back then? Stomping on weak players is pretty boring and quite unsatisfying. You know what I really enjoyed? The thrill of hunting the most dangerous game. PKK in hardcore mode on a 56k modem. God damn what a rush. Haha. Giddy just thinking about it. Oh, sweet victory; so many ears. You gotta keep the ears as a trophy, obviously.

That's right, fam. Because being a player killer is boring as hell. The real test of mettle is the life of a player killer killer! Thanks @mykos, for reminding me who I am.

It's worth asking:

Does anyone give a shit about what this @mykos account says or does? Is there any reason to trust this person or support their work here? I'm legitimately curious. Beggars can't be choosers. Hive needs as many devs as it can get.

Hm so yeah even after being indirectly threatened by literal death by a disturbed delusional conspiracy theorist, I think this post will be all the retaliation required. Punishment fits the crime. Ah, sweet poetic justice... to flip this exact situation into entertainment for the rest of the network that I directly profit from. Thanks for the free money, bitch.

I'm an adult.

That's my dream now.

Decentralized web3 Diablo-like game with items, equipment, spells, etc as NFTs.

Well, if Solchicks isn't a Diablo clone I'll eat a hairy deodorant stick.

But the artwork's not my thing. I was expecting something a little... sexier.

What can I say, the illusion of wealth that comes with the unrealistic position crypto puts us in can sometimes attract Irrational behavior and mindset. The 200k isn't even 200k anymore when the bear market comes, so whats the fuss?

Nah, not jinxing it, crypto is volatile unless it's cashed out into hard currencies

I was managing not to laugh out loud, until you spoke of battle over a 56k modem. Gangster.

Personally, I do not care at all about BitcoinMYK's account or scam looking, ah, contributions. Plenty of people doing a better job working that angle around here.

I do sometimes wonder how many famously crypto rich people live their lives... does Vitalik have security guards? Does that Bitcoin family who put everything into BTC while living in a van worry about a kid being napped for ransom? Will our vary own Andrew Levine need to worry about this if Koinos goes bonkers?

Nicely done. I really appreciate the attitude, lol. Seriously, its refreshing.

The attitude is probably great, seeing people differently for wanting to save their money is low

hahaha... ha.

too real

I got a good friend who is super into ICP.

Also I've heard this song over a dozen times.

Ah, that brings me back.

So stupid, haha. Love it.

Did you know the FBI classified all ICP fans as a gang? So if you were wearing merch or had a sticker on your car, that's enough 'probable cause' to stop and search, for instance... ?

I think he is trying to gamble his way back to fame.... you can't blame him for his weak efforts lol😅

Well, his blog wasn't anyway 🤣🤣🤣.

Btw, do you really need a car?
Any reason in particular? I doubt.

No I don't need a car, which is exactly the point.
99.9% of Americans in my position would have bought one anyway.
I save my money and people want to crucify me for it?
Hard pass.

This looks like a stunt someone would pull on twitter. Is trying to gain attention? Cos it just might be working...

Indeed I did consider that while advertising his website.
Good catch.

I am so use to having a car...so I don't know how annoying it would be to travel around without one but yea I agree that you shouldn't flaunt your wealth. Then again, unless you bought something like a Lambo, nobody will really care too much.

People have been acting aggressively on all fronts in the last few weeks. I don't know what is the cause of this but it seems to me these corrections have liquidated too many plebs that are looking for someone to blame. Fking crazy town these days.

Also...

I've told people to not buy that Lambo because flaunting status symbols in the future could be dangerous

I don't know why people keep seeing this as a joke or a burst of paranoia. If all hell breaks loose and the angry mob gets angrier I wonder who will be their primary target...
