A quiet week this week after the excitement of Thanksgiving and Black Friday and before we start the build up to the winter holidays ... and the next round of the 365 day (compound) a penny a day Challenge! More about EDS tokens
EDS tokens are a low-risk income token, ideal for people who want to save. There were only 20,000 originally and they were all sold at 1 Hive each, with guaranteed earnings of 12% each year. You can now acquire EDS tokens through the EDS Miner token.
Earnings come from powering up and leasing out the Hive that came from selling the tokens, plus earnings from posts and comments each week. EDS pays out every Monday evening. Last week the pay out was equivalent to 23%.

1. Check Progress
Each week, we're going to check in through this post and see where we are up to. Our target for today, 4 December, was 24.45p. Next week, we'll be saving 24.94p and by Saturday we'll have saved 602.60p (that's 50,260p just compounding a penny a day)! 😁.
Each week, I'll be buying Hive for @susie-saver's account with the pennies we've saved.
Here's this week's results - 24.45p buys 13.21 Hive.
1140 Hive powered up in 49 weeks and the remainder invested in EDS and EDSM! Plus we're earning 3.22% inflation on powered up Hive, 20% on EDSM, 23% on EDS tokens and a little on curating and posting!

Congrats to this weeks winners!. How time flies by another week has passed. Saving for another buy in at the end of the month, but ZI spent what I had saved so far this month for my cub life buy in on cub life on hive engine someone was selling cheap so I bought it all up so I am starting a new for saving for the rest of the month. Hope all are doing well.

Hello @ericburgoyne. I didn't look to see that someone was selling cublife. I should have. I finally managed to participate in the buy-in for November. Planning to continue in December.

Congratulations to @bearmol and @jfang003 again for winning in the Wheel of Names.
The Christmas Holiday is only a few weeks away. I've now withdrew all my funds saved thus far in various sources and am enjoying my holiday shopping. I've found that numerous items have tripled in price. I don't have any small children, so the newest toy and other games the manufacturers release just in time to spend your money on won't catch me up trying to hurry and buy before sold out.
Congrats to @susie-saver on her increase in HP. She's just rolling along once she hit 1K.
As far as spreading the word about the Savers Club, I will be publishing my post this week.

I think I must have a "make-a-present-a-week" goal for myself next year. I have seen so many great ideas for gifts (and gleaned more from Saturday Savers Club), but I don't have time to put them all into action between now and the holidays! If I made one each week, even only through the winter, I'd have a lovely store and I would have lots of new sewing/knitting/crochet techniques. I also loved the foodie ideas - spiced and flavoured hot chocolate and cake mixes, such a good idea and perfect for getting down to it in late Autumn.

Congrats to the winners! Personally I am slowly starting to save some HBD, I try to save anything I receive in that form and sometimes convert some hive when it's at a higher value.
With all that is happening it can be hard to settle for "just" that 10% rate it returns but in the end you want to have some stable increase of purchasing power. But yeah I also want more leo, edsm and build that splinterlands collection so this is gonna take some time I'm afraid :-P
