I use hivesigner and don't create a password, just use my posting password key. Is that "safer" than using Keychain or should i be using keychain?
Good post. RC's are not cheap longterm and I don't see how Hive is sustainable beyond 2 years from now or there about. I reckon that's when we'll have onboarding issues and be running out of RC.

I assume hivesigner is fine. Especially if you only use posting key that is very very secure.
Hivesigner is more my style, but new dApps or updated versions of existing dApps are moving away from offering Hivesigner as an option.
Is the Resouce Credit situation a result of general price inflation, of current market conditions, or some other circumstance? It would suck if Hive became out of reach because RCs were out of control.

I know @edicted and others are better people to reply to your questions about RCs, but my 2 cents is that each block is only 65kb in size and we simply can't store that much content on this blockchain without innovating. RC's will get more expensive as we run out of space and what will the chain look like when only whales can post content daily and comment frequently?
