Yes! I have owned property like that, but, only as a rental. I lived somewhere else. It is a win-win when you get a great tenant! I am not sure you can make it any better than this.
No regrets. You are happy, close to work and you have rental income. You are looking at it from a nostalgic view, which is not taking any of the financial/emotional aspects into consideration.
You got it all. If you sold this one, you would have big regrets! This one is perfect, just another kind, that's the difference!
