Splinterlands Diary 13.02.22 - Grum Flameblade
Hi friends, I'm stuck in the Gold I league today and despite persistence the algorithm picks strong opponents and I still lack about a hundred rating points to move to the Diamond League. But the Fire quest of the day was very easy - 4 wins in a row, a couple of battles for other elements, and then another victory that opened the door to the rewards, which included four common cards and one rare card - Venari Bonesmith.
Sticking to the plan, I bought another Chaos Legion Pack and practically overcame all my "losses" from last week, because the Legendary Grum Flameblade was in it! The first card in the game that has the gladiator ability is Bloodlust.
I previously rented it to use in battles with a lot of mana, and I'm certainly very happy to get my own fighter like this. Naturally, I immediately sent him into battle and he performed just fine.
My opponent used Molen Ogre to lower my monsters' attack, and slowed them down with Creeping Ooze, but thanks to Yodin Zaku's summoner my attack strategy worked at its best, and Grum Flameblade held the defense brilliantly.Watch:
After getting the payouts for last week's post I kept pumping money into the pools and today I've contributed to PIZZA:DEC and PIZZA:ONEUP, which are offering pretty good bonuses in the form of LVL and UTOPIS tokens and everything goes according to plan :)
It's going to be a long day off, so I'll make the most of it today :)
