One day while I was having lunch at home, the doorbell rang, I went to the window and saw a couple with something in their hands. I approached them at some distance and asked them what they were offering. It turns out they were salesmen, offering me a plant for sale. I'm not a big fan of buying things like that because we don't know their origin, but the couple didn't inspire distrust. When I approached them I realized that it was an orchid, which at that moment I didn't know, they asked for a reasonable amount and I immediately decided to buy it.

The same day I put it in a pot conditioned with stones and sticks. I did not know where to place it to exhibit it, I put it in front of the house and I think it did not like the place because it began to wilt, then we moved it to a side, where the morning sun hits it, and that place if it liked it because it recovered its color progressively.

When I found out about it, with the help of google, I found that it was a species of orchid known as the Golden Button, and its scientific name Oncidium cheirophorum. The plant in bloom are multiple mini orchids, yellow, very pleasing to the eye. Its optimum temperature is between 20 and 26 ° C and are high humidity. It is a common species in humid forests, at an altitude of 1100-1300 meters from Mexico to Colombia. I am really happy with this acquisition.

Yellow orchids have a very special meaning. Yellow is a vibrant, attractive, beautiful and, above all, very cheerful color. This is why yellow flowers are often so striking. One of the meanings of yellow flowers is associated with friendship, they also symbolize optimism and energy. The bright color of yellow orchids is synonymous with joy and new beginnings. It resembles the color of the sun, fills us with positivity, and recharges the energy of our body and mind.

MI ORQUÍDEA AMARILLA

Un día mientras almorzaba plácidamente en mi casa, tocaron el timbre de la casa, me dirigí a la ventana y observe una pareja con algo entre las manos. Me acerque hasta cierta distancia y les pregunte ¿que se les ofrecía? Resulta que eran vendedores, ofreciéndome en venta una planta. No soy muy amigo de comprar cosas así porque no sabemos la procedencia que puedan tener, pero la pareja no inspiraba desconfianza. Cuando me acerco me doy cuenta que se trata de una orquídea, que en esos momentos no la conocía, pidieron un monto razonable y de inmediato decidí comprarla.

El mismo dia la coloque en una maceta acondicionada con piedras y palos. No sabía donde colocarla para exhibirla, la puse frente a la casa y creo que no le gusto el lugar porque empezó a marchitarse, luego la mudamos a un lateral, donde le pega el sol de la mañana, y ese sitio si le agradó porque recupero su color progresivamente.

Al averiguar de ella, con la ayuda de google, encontré que se trataba de una especie de orquídea conocida como el Botón de Oro, y su nombre científico Oncidium cheirophorum. La planta al florecer son múltiples mini orquídeas, amarillas muy placenteras a la visión. Su Temperatura óptima es entre 20 y 26°C y son de alta humedad. Es una especie común en los bosques húmedos, a una altura de 1100–1300 metros desde México a Colombia. De verdad estoy contento con esa adquisición.

Las orquídeas amarillas tienen un significado muy especial. El color amarillo es un color vibrante, atractivo, hermoso y, sobre todo, muy alegre. Por este motivo, las flores amarillas suelen ser tan llamativas. Uno de los significados de las flores amarillas está asociado a la amistad, también simbolizan el optimismo y la energía.
