Conscience is the knowledge of the good we should do and the evil we should avoid. It refers to self-knowledge, to the knowledge that the human spirit has of its own existence, whether states or acts. It applies to the ethical, to judgments about the good and evil of our actions.

Our conscience is the inner light that illuminates us, it is that light that illuminates every man who comes into this world, that is to say, the perception of objective reality. Without it we would be simply unconscious automatons, incapable of thinking, knowing, judging, willing, choosing and directing ourselves.

Man is a conscious being and this makes the difference with the other beings on the planet, because he knows what he is doing, he captures sensations from the external world and knows the reasons for his reactions.

The more we awaken our senses by living in the present moment, the less we are limited by our habitual tensions, anxiety and repetitive attitudes that diminish our vital energy. We experience detachment from suffering, anguish, discomfort and we connect with our deep Nature, filling us with peace, joy and love.

 Consciousness orients the life of the individual and helps him to achieve his human goals through the practice of moral virtues, that is, it guides him in the realization of himself and his potentialities, modifying his habits.

Consciousness requires the use of the senses as a means of connectivity between external stimuli and their associations.

By means of his Intelligence or conscience man comes to know the true nature of the world around him, of himself and of all things that fall under his senses; he compares these things, classifies them, distinguishes them, and relates them to one another and thus forms ever more abstract and general concepts and ideas, drawn from the particular and concrete.

We will only be able to elucidate whether we are on the right path when our conscience indicates whether or not we are satisfied with the answer we have found. We can understand the moral world by submitting our perceptions to the consultation of the conscience.

Through the use of the five bodily senses, which allow us to relate to the external world, the Conscience will flourish and will teach us to differentiate the Good from the Bad, and to improve our attitude and behavior before situations of the external world. This Consciousness will give us the Knowledge of the good we should do and the evil we should avoid, of what we want and what we should be.

LA CONCIENCIA

La Conciencia es el conocimiento del bien que debemos hacer y del mal que debemos evitar. Se refiere al saber de sí mismo, al conocimiento que el espíritu humano tiene de su propia existencia, ya sean estados o actos. Se aplica a lo ético, a los juicios sobre el bien y el mal de nuestras acciones.

Nuestra conciencia es la luz interior que nos ilumina, es aquella luz que alumbra a todo hombre que viene a este mundo, es decir a la percepción de la realidad objetiva. Sin ella seríamos simplemente autómatas inconscientes, incapaces de pensar, saber, juzgar, querer, elegir y dirigirnos.

El hombre es un ser consciente y esto marca la diferencia con los demás seres del planeta, porque él sabe lo que hace, capta sensaciones del mundo externo y conoce los motivos de sus reacciones.

Mientras más despertamos nuestros sentidos viviendo el momento presente, menos nos limitan nuestras tensiones habituales, la ansiedad y las actitudes repetitivas que nos hacen disminuir nuestra energía vital. Experimentamos el desapego al sufrimiento, a la angustia , al malestar y nos conectamos con nuestra Naturaleza profunda, llenándonos de paz, alegría y amor.

 La Conciencia  orienta la vida del individuo y le ayuda a conseguir sus fines humanos mediante la práctica de las virtudes morales, es decir, lo guía en la realización de sí mismo y de sus potencialidades, modificando sus hábitos.

La conciencia requiere del uso de los sentidos como medio de conectividad entre los estímulos externos y sus asociaciones.

Por medio de su Inteligencia o conciencia el hombre llega a conocer la verdadera naturaleza del mundo que le rodea, de sí mismo y de todas las cosas que caen bajo sus sentidos; compara estas cosas, las clasifica, las distingue y las relaciona unas con otras y se forma así conceptos e ideas siempre más abstractos y generales, sacados de lo particular y concreto.

Sólo podremos dilucidar si nos encontramos en el camino correcto, cuando la conciencia nos indique si estamos o no satisfechos con la respuesta encontrada. EL mundo moral lo podemos comprender sometiendo nuestras percepciones a la consulta de la conciencia.

A través del uso de los cinco sentidos corporales, que nos permiten relacionarnos con el mundo exterior, La Conciencia irá floreciendo e irá enseñándonos a diferenciar lo Bueno de lo Malo, y a mejorar nuestra actitud y comportamiento ante situaciones del mundo exterior. Esta Conciencia nos dará el Conocimiento del bien que debemos hacer y del mal que debemos evitar, de lo que queremos y debemos ser.
