hey @sofs-su hehehe its the guineafowl again!!!!! hehehehe

wow @fermentedphil - that sunbird is really exquisite!!! it's like a painting hehehehe the colors are so vibrant!!!

when Bluefinstudios was visiting us - we went to a little river and there were these vibrantly colored birds... river something...

I guess I should tag him hehe @bluefinstudios - what was the name of that green and purple bird that was down by the river???

i just love the colors in birds - I would never think to pair those colors if I were painting a bird - but there they are - together, in harmony, and beautifully striking - right in their DNA hahahaha

so cool :)

hmmm
that was a swift. I can't remember which type of swift. Depending on the direction you were seeing them, they were Iridescent green or purple.

Thanks again! And yes, their colorful feathers are just awesome! It looks like a painting. And I am glad that you have also seen some up close where you went down by the river!

Google is our best friend! And I can imagine it was so cool! We have loads of small insects now that it is spring and the sunbirds love them.
