Nicely done!!! I loved that he made the connection to her through his daughter. I'm sure that helped her to relate on a new level.
at the end - the story stated its time that his daughter gets a new mother... was the detective planning on pursuing her? wasn't she only in high school? did i miss that?? (maybe she was in college hahaha)

😁 so happy you stopped by to read my post. But it seems you missed the last line. The detective was given a phone number by a lady fire fighter who was wowed by his skills to talk Alison down from the ledge.
So Det.Riley was not considering Alison as his daughter's new mother.😄
