Trading My Fresh Vegetable Harvest Into Fresh Fruits: Everything Sold Out Early This Morning

Hello everyone!
One of the things I enjoy most about gardening is that every harvest comes with a surprise. A few months ago, I planted what I believed was a butternut squash. I was excited to see those long, tan-colored fruits growing in my backyard. But when the fruits finally appeared, I surprise because they looked more like our native squash instead! Maybe the seeds got mixed up, or maybe nature simply had a different plan for me.

Even though the squash is smaller than I expected, I honestly don't mind. It is fresh, delicious, and perfect for cooking pinakbet and other vegetable dishes. Sometimes, the simplest vegetables are the ones that taste the best.

This morning, I harvested squash, bottle gourd (upo), ampalaya, string beans, and a few ripe Red Lady papayas. I was happy to see everything ready for picking after weeks of watering, weeding, and caring for my little garden.

The best part of my day was when my regular buyers came early in the morning. Before I even finished arranging my vegetables, everything was already sold out! I felt so thankful because people continue to support my small backyard garden. Their trust and appreciation mean so much to me.

With the money I earned from today's harvest, I was able to buy fresh fruits for my daughter. I bought grapes, oranges, apples, and pears. It may seem like a simple purchase, but seeing my daughter happy while enjoying healthy fruits made all the hard work in the garden worthwhile. Moments like this remind me why I love planting so much.

Gardening has taught me that we should never underestimate simple vegetables. A small backyard garden may not look impressive to everyone, but it can provide fresh food, extra income, and beautiful memories for the family.

Every seed I plant carries hope, and every harvest reminds me that patience and hard work always bring blessings.

To everyone who bought my harvest today, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support helps my family and inspires me to keep planting. I truly appreciate each one of you.

Thank you so much for reading my story. Happy gardening, everyone! 🌱💚

This is the reason na Hindi pa na harvest meron na naka order dahil mura lang daw benta namin, We are happy with the small blessing basta makakatulong din ng Malaki sa Amin. Free na Ang pang snacks ng aKing anak and no need to go to city para bumili ng mga fruits. 😍 This is a simple life here in the farm.
