Finding Peace Through Prayer at Nuestra Senora Dela Candelaria Parish

Hello everyone!
Life is never easy. We all go through trials, problems, and moments when we feel like giving up. There are days when I feel so down, but I always remind myself that my mind should not be controlled by fear and sadness. Instead, I choose to hold on to my faith in God.

Today was one of those difficult days. My husband and I came from the hospital where my mother-in-law is currently confined in critical condition. Before we went home, I told my husband that I wanted to stop by Nuestra Señora Dela Candelaria Parish, which is just near the hospital. I wanted to light a candle, pray, and pour out everything that was weighing heavily on my heart.

While I was praying, I asked God to give my mother-in-law strength and healing. I also prayed for wisdom and peace because, honestly, this situation has been emotionally and financially challenging for us. My mother-in-law has five children, yet it feels like we are carrying most of the hospital expenses. I know that everyone has their own struggles, and I don't want to judge or blame anyone. Still, I wish that even the smallest act of support, like preparing food or sending rice to the hospital, could have been shared among the family.

I also prayed that whatever happens, no one will blame us. Instead, I asked God to guide our family and fill our hearts with love, understanding, and unity during this difficult time.

As I sat quietly inside the church, I realized that having many siblings does not always mean everyone can help. But despite everything, I still believe that God will never leave us. He gives us strength when we are weak and hope when everything feels uncertain.

Thank you so much for reading my story. These photos are my own, and I edited them using Canva. May God bless us all and remind us that every trial becomes lighter when we place it in His hands.

Have a nice day!

No matter how busy life gets or how heavy our problems are, iba talaga ang gaan ng puso kapag galing sa simbahan.
God is always with us. 😍

That's true sis...despite of our struggles faced in life,at the end of the day, we are always certain and sure that God will always never leave us nor forsake us..

I can relate to this sis, whenever I'm down and unwell, pupunta ako sa church, and I love to stay at the Blessed Sacrament..their I kneel and cry and pray..after a while, I felt relieved and at ease..

Thank you, sis. I truly believe that God never leaves us, especially during our hardest moments.

God bless you. 🙏

sama2 sa kasiyahan, pero kanya2 sa kahirapan..
You're right, we can't judge.. first, just let them know na you are struggling, I'm sure they'll help if they can.. if they won't but you know they could, well, alam na this.. ipagpasa dyos mo nlng. their turn will come

thank you penguin.png
