Be careful when working with open flames and flammable gases under pressure!

Hello smokers!

Since all my buds are end, it's time to cooc my trimming. And since I broke my big glass extractor, I had to make this gadget again.

The device is suitable for extracting various essential oils from dried plants, but we need it for marijuana.

Before experimenting with this plant, be sure to familiarize yourself with the sections of the laws related to the circulation of this plant in the territory where you are to avoid unpleasant consequences!

So, what we will need:

  • A blank for making plastic bottles
  • Knife
  • Candle
  • Thermoglue
  • Metal wire
  • Needle from a syringe with a cap
Let's get started.

We'll make a hole in the bottom of our blank using a wire heated on a candle.

Then we need to cut off the tip of the cap from the needle from the syringe and glue it in place of the hole made.

We use the same candle to heat the hot melt adhesive

This is necessary so that the gas with the TGC solution does not splatter in all directions, coming out under pressure.

The bottom part is ready. Let's start making the lid

First, take the needle out of the seat. We need the adapter itself.

We take any clean cork from the bottle and make a small hole.

Using hot glue, we fix our adapter in the cork hole.

When the glue dries, the extractor can be used.

I almost forgot. For successful use, we need to put a piece of heat shrink tubing on our gas bottle. This will act as a joint seal and prevent gas from escaping to the outside in the wrong place!

I will tell you about how the extraction itself takes place in the next post. Subscribe so you don't miss out!

And very effective!
With one extraction, I have enough amber for 5-6 times!

Nice build, in Canada we call the finished product honey oil :)

Unfortunately, in Ukraine we have banned cannabis and all its derivatives. Therefore, only true connoisseurs know about this product. Impossible to find for sale!
Accordingly, it does not have a local name.😕
I call it the way I saw it in the video, watching which I first learned about this technology - wax or amber.
And under the smoke, the shorter the name, the more likely it will take root 😆😆

There was a black oil that people would make by cooking it down, not as good, but with butane extraction people would call the pure product honey oil.. in the states I think they do call it wax I think, Canada is a little different :) I'll have to watch the part two to know for sure it is what I think it is :)

"Pure product honey oil" this name suits the product very well in terms of its consistency and appearance. Surely it was invented by educated people.
In countries where weed is outlawed, you are dealing with uneducated salesmen who have substances much more serious than wax in their assortment, but there is no wax. They can rarely name the variety of plant they sell, or randomly name any of the top varieties.
The way you call it in Canada, the hucksters will not even be able to remember, let alone pronounce it))
They would call it rather sticky or yellow or clear... or rather wax)

The question of "culture of use" - which we do not have due to the illegality of the plant. You can’t go to a pharmacy or a coffee shop to buy fragrant buds. Nowhere to meet to exchange experiences neither growers nor smokers.
But alcohol is on every corner and for every taste: For children - sweeter, for adults - stronger, for the rich - more elite, for the poor - cheaper!

That is why I grow plants for myself and do not mess with various muddy characters)))

This post would have garnered more attention if you had used the #diy tag. By using the #diy tag your post gets featured in http://www.build-it.io, giving your post extra eyeballs and the opportunity to earn the BUIDL tokens as well.

Do not use #buildit tag. Although its use is recommended by https://www.build-io developers, for some reason posts with those tag don't show up https://www.buildit-io. However, using #diy tag would.
