A White And Wintery Wednesday Walk
Walking outside with the cool Canadian air filling my lungs I stop to take a picture of a nearby school. Stones are placed in unison where the kids gather to share stories and memories. Nestled in between some trees this is a beautiful spot to take a moment and reflect on things. I come here on my nightly walks and sit down on one of the stones thinking about life and appreciating all the things it has to offer.
I have been doing these nightly walks on and off for 2 months now but as of lately I have not been active in getting outside and enjoying the outdoors as much. Thanks to @dswigle and her beautiful post it inspired me to get out and write about it. I have just recently joined the hive community just 3 months ago mainly posting about splinterlands content, but in the last month, I have joined a bunch of communities and want to start blogging about other things I'm interested in.
A spotlight shines down on the snow-filled park, I like to come here and get a little workout in they have resistance machines here and a bunch of other things that you can use to get active and do a workout. Mainly I use the parallel bars to do some incline pushups and then jump over to the monkey bars to do some hip raises.
These are the parallel bars that I love to use and with it being night no one is around so it is nice and peaceful and can I get my workout done in a serene and soothing way. No music just the sounds of the environment and a few rabbits that like to run around suits me just fine.
Finishing off on the monkey bars for some hip raises and free hangs, doing it today actually wore me out since it's been close to a month since I have stopped by here and done anything so I will definitely be feeling the soreness tomorrow. Well worth it though I have to get back to doing this daily again as it felt great and I feel it is a vital part of a balanced lifestyle.
A nice little selfie along the highway street lights and businesses light up the background. For as busy as this highway is I love walking by it I don't know why I find it calming but the sounds of big rigs and blinding lights just keep me moving.
My final obstacle to overcome was the skating rink parking lot, this was a slippery slope but I managed to conquer it. In Alberta, it is very common for a lot of melting and refreezing to occur in a day it was beautiful today and a lot of snow and ice melted. Come night time and it has all frozen over again turning the streets and parking lots iced glazed interstate.

Wow it looks so cold. I'm from a tropical country, then I think I cannot walk under that weather, I'm just freezing. Anyway, the scenery with snow looks interesting. @drabs587
LOL I love the gif, It was a little chilly not too bad it gets to be -40 here in the winter so that is when it is really cold but this was a nice chill. I do love the snow not as much as I use to but it is always enjoyable for a little bit.

LOL too funny, Yes I'm so happy I joined as well I still have a long way to go in writing and blogging.
It still amazes me people enjoy my content or come by and leave a nice comment that is very meaningful to me as I haven't had that with anybody in my life. I have connected with so many people on here now and that has really uplifted my spirits from the past year.
Look forward to the next one and getting even more engaged in these awesome communities. Time seems to always be an issue these days but when is it not lol.

I would have been really tempted to take a running slide on the parking lot. The grownup in me says that breaking anything at this time of year is verboten. I am so happy to see you get your post in #WednesdayWalk It was great and I get to see more of Alberta!

LOL that is exactly what I did I had to take a running slide on it 😂 and yes the monkey bars are cold but my gloves protect from that a little bit slippery with them on but better than freezing my hands off hehe.

We'll stay tuned tomorrow because my community, is tomorrow. Amazing pictures! I've never seen snow in person, whenever I've traveled it's either summer or the country i go don't get snow either.... I have Canada on my bucket list, hopefully be going there soon!!! In the meantime, I'll enjoy your shots!!
Thank you glad you enjoyed them, Yes Canada is pretty beautiful I need to see more of it myself I have not ever really travelled far. Just around Alberta but now I wanna go all over the place I still need to get my passport to travel outside the country, but never thought that was something I would do in my life.
Snow is fun especially if you haven't seen it or experienced it before snowball fights and sledding are great examples. Plus I always find waking up on Xmas with a ton of snow outside is a special time and brings a certain joy to me when it happens.
