BAD INFLUENCE || Weekend Engagement

My doctor said I burnt my liver.
I've been drinking, smoking cigars.
Used to sing and play my guitar.
Now I'm lost ...

Pardon me. I'm not here to sing you bad influence by @omahlay. For a moment there my mind drifted away.

I'm here to tell you a tale. A true life story. A story of how I lost my virginity Innocence.

MANY YEARS AGO

I was a good kid all my life. Daddy's pet, Mummy's handbag. I was really brilliant, always came top of my class. Dad was proud of me and always bought me gifts for my performance.

I had two best friends back then, Tobs and Bub. We were all of the same height, the shortest in all classes, and the most brilliant. We Did Everything Together, read together. And most importantly, we laughed together.

On a Wednesday, I was walking to school smiling to myself. I wasn't smiling because I really loved going to school, but being the first to be in class always makes me happy.

I walked into class joyfully, at the entrance I bumped into a pretty girl. Our lips almost touched each other. We stood there for seconds. During those seconds I didn't breath. Her beauty was stunning.

"I'm sorry"

She said as she stepped back.

"Hey! Are you looking for someone?"

"This is my class. I'm new here."

"Oh, that's great. I'm Kay."

"I'm silver. Nice to meet you."

AND IT BEGINS

From that moment, we became good friends. Funny enough she was Brilliant too, she dragged positions with my friends and I. As time went by, I decided to introduce her to my circle of best friends. I told Tobs and Bub about my plans.

"Guys, I'm sure you have noticed that I have been rolling with Silver recently. I think she is cool and I want to include her in our circle of friendship."

"There's something about that girl that I can't figure out."

Tobs said.

"I have no problem with the girl, but i don't like the idea of a girl joining our circle."
Bub added.

Clearly it couldn't work out. I was left in the middle of a bridge. It's either silver or my best Friends.

NEXT ACADEMIC SESSION, EVERYTHING CHANGED.

Silver changed school. Few Days Later, I enrolled in the same school with her. Here nothing came between us. We did everything together. Went to class today, Went home together.

"Kay why did you follow me to my new school?"

She asked on our way home one day.

"I couldn't stay there without you."

With time I noticed something change about Silver. She always asked me for money, and she wouldn't take no for an answer.

"Kay, I need some money to make my hair."

"Silver, I already gave you my last savings yesterday. I have no money left."

"Don't be a baby. Do what your mates are doing."

"And what is that?"

"Take money from your mother's purse. There's no big deal in that."

In no time stealing from my mother's purse became a normal thing for me. This qualified me to roll with the big boys in school, because I always had money in my pocket. The Rate At which I entered class started reducing. As A big boy in school, you were expected to skip classes.

With my new Lifestyle in school, my grades started falling drastically. I didn't really Care. All I wanted was to please Silver..

My best friends, Tobs and Bub heard about my poor performance in school and tried to talk to me about it, but I kept avoiding them. I just felt they hated silver and they would do anything to tear us apart.

At home, everybody was surprised at my poor result that section. I gave them a random excuse for my poor performance. They weren't so happy with me and I didn't get any gifts.

The day dawned on me when Silver finally traveled to a far state. This time around I couldn't follow her to her new school. With silver gone, I realized I have been going astray. I made amends with my best friends. Tried to buckle up and once again pick up academically.
