Cuando hablamos de videojuegos, existen muchos tipos de jugadores, están estos que juegan de manera casual, no necesitan tener una consola o una supercomputadora para disfrutar una partida de vez en cuando, conozco muchos que disfrutan una partida de Garena Free Fire de vez en cuando en el celular.

Sin embargo, nada de esto toca el punto al que quiero llegar, cuando era chamo disfrutaba de mis consolas, recuerdo mi versión pirata de NES (Nintendo Entertainment System), disfrute tantos juegos entre ellos Super Mario Bros luego más adelante uno de mis primos tuvo la dicha de haber recibido una Super Nintendo con un único juego, Killer Instinct, pasábamos horas dándonos golpizas y nunca nos aburríamos, luego de eso tuve mi propia PlayStation (ONE), en ella dedique tantas horas de juego, títulos como Metal Gear Solid Snake, Chrono Cross, Legends of Dragon, Dragon Ball GT, Need for Speed, recuerdo que cambiaba discos con mi mejor amigo de la infancia cada semana, más adelante logre tener un PlayStation 2, pero justo cuando lo logre comprar había conocido el mundo del PC Gamer, bueno si se le puede decir gamer en esa época, recuerdo que habían abierto un Ciber cerca de casa y nos juntábamos el grupo de amigos y gastábamos nuestro dinero en horas de juego, este mundo me alejo de las consolas y por ende de los mandos o controles como les decíamos nosotros.

Pero hace dos años decidí que quería volver a las consolas, no quería comprar algo nuevo ya que tenía tanto tiempo sin jugar en una de ellas que los controles se me habían hecho complicados, empecé con un PS3, lo compre de segunda mano y luego compre varios juegos, que de por si eran buenos y quería jugarlos, pero simplemente cada vez que iniciaba uno, el poder acostumbrarme a jugar con un control se me hacía imposible, desistí de la idea y lo vendí, unos meses después tuve la oportunidad de comprar una Nintendo Switch, creí que sería diferente, luego de tenerla compre dos juegos, uno de ellos era The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, anhelaba jugarlo, pero la historia fue la misma, no pude hacer costumbre en el uso de dos analógicos y unos cuantos botones y simplemente la vendí, pero la historia no terminaba allí, no quería rendirme, pero esta vez no quise gastar dinero en una consola, compre un mando chino para usar en mi computador, intente jugar Death Stranding con él y luego de unas horas lo deje a un lado y simplemente retome mi teclado y mouse, fue allí cuando empecé a disfrutarlo.

Hace unas semanas pude conseguir una oferta por el MarketPlace de Facebook, un Nintendo Wii, no podía dejar pasarlo, lo compre y de inmediato decidí jugar dos titulazos, Super Mario Bros Wii y Metal Slug Anthology, creo que esta vez pude disfrutar nuevamente de una consola, estuve horas tras horas jugando, incluso disfrute de varias carreras en Mario Kart Wii junto a mi esposa, nos reímos mucho y la pasamos bien, pero todo era simple solo jugaba con el Wii Motion. una cruceta y 4 botones, simplicidad excelente para mí y estos juegos, pero quería disfrutar de otro juego que no había podido jugar nunca y fue Super Mario Galaxi, cuando lo empecé a jugar por obligación tenía que usar el Nunchuck, lo conecte y empecé, luego de un rato volví a sentir esta sensación de incomodidad, no solo era tener un control con dos analógicos, sino que tenía una barra infrarroja que detectaba el movimiento de donde apuntaría mis proyectiles, en este caso las estrellas y fui un fiasco, no lograba central la cámara y los controles se me hacían imposibles.

Al parecer ya no estoy hecho para usar controles de consolas, lo más triste es que en mis planes esta la compra de un PS5, de corazón anhelo esta consola y no porque sea de última generación o por la potencia grafica que tiene, sino por el hecho de que luego de jugar Horizon Zero Dawn, quede con las ansias de poder continuar su secuela, esta es exclusiva de PlayStation y no creo que llegue a PC en un futuro cercano, por esto decidí ir a casa de un amigo, quien tiene un PS4 con el juego de Zero Dawn, decidí dar otra oportunidad a mis torpes manos, estuve unas horas en su casa jugando, adaptarme a las mecánicas con el DualShock no fue fácil, cometí tantos errores y simplemente cada vez que me sucedía quería dejar de jugar y simplemente pensar que los mandos ya no son para mí, me sentí con diez dedos pulgares en mis manos y esto me ha desanimado mucho.
Apparently I am no longer made to use console controls, the saddest thing is that in my plans is the purchase of a PS5, from my heart I long for this console and not because it is the latest generation or for the graphic power it has, but by the fact that after playing Horizon Zero Dawn, I am left with the desire to continue its sequel, this is exclusive to PlayStation and I do not think it will come to PC in the near future, because of this I decided to go to a friend's house, who has a PS4 with the Zero Dawn game, I decided to give another chance to my clumsy hands, I spent a few hours at his house playing, adapting to the mechanics with the DualShock was not easy, I made so many mistakes and just every time it happened to me I wanted to stop playing and just think that the controllers are no longer for me, I felt with ten thumbs in my hands and this has discouraged me a lot.
Pero aun con mi incapacidad de mantener una partida con esta consola, no puedo desistir de mi idea de comprarme una consola de última generación, al final creo que todo es cuestión de costumbre acompañada con un poco de memoria muscular, pero también tengo el temor de que simplemente ya no poder y terminare vendiéndola como hice con las anteriores.

Pasé por lo mismo que tú, toda la vida fui de jugar en computadora, pero cuando conocí a mi esposo el es de consolas y me invitó a jugar el metal slug y bueno me volví un ocho con los botones y el joystick jajaja.
Después de un tiempo me he acostumbrado un poco, aunque todavía me cuesta manejar el joystick, siento mucha más precisión con el teclado, pero bueno cada vez voy mejorando en esta situación, ojalá que puedas hacerlo tú también para que disfrutes de esa PS5 cuando la compres.

Espero lograrlo antes de la compra, seguiré intentando acostumbrarme con un Gamepad que tengo actualmente y estoy jugando Genshin Impact, se me complica mucho, pero seguiré intentando hasta poder sentir un poco de costumbre en el juego y quizás luego dar el salto al PS5 o PS4, ya veré en el camino.
Sabes que me pasó algo similar hace tiempo. Yo no jugaba con una consola desde que estaba en bachillerato y el año pasado me invitaron a jugar, un amigo que se compró un xbox de los primeros.
Imaginate, nos pusimos a jugar un Dragon Ball que venía para esa consola y Bloody Roar Extreme, dos juegazos. También jugamos FIFA, pero con los tres juegos me sentía un poco tonto porque simplemente no estaba acostumbrado a los controles jajaja ya después fui tomando ritmo pero ciertamente uno a veces tarda en acostumbrarse.
Ojalá logres adquirir la PS5, eso sería un sueño para todo amante de los videojuegos.
Tal cual como dices, quizás es cuestión de costumbre, tantos años con mouse y teclado, pero tarde o temprano lo lograré, espero sea pronto, Saludos.
Tengo muy horas con joysticks en consolas así que realmente soy pésimo, tengo un control que no anda muy bien pero lo uso para juegos plataformeros en la PC. Aun no logro acostumbrarme me siento muy comodo con el mouse casi como si fuera una extension de im brazo.
Al final es como dices, lo que utilizamos a diario termina convirtiéndose en parte nuestra, en nuestro caso sería el mouse y teclado, como dices tu pienso yo, ya son extensiones de nuestras manos, pero todo se entrena, tarde o temprano me acostumbrare.
