Beautiful people of #Hive and #emotions&feeling. The team of encuentro de @talentos, invites us to slide our pen about a very interesting topic: Challenges.

Life is a constant challenge, they can be short, medium and long term. When we set out to achieve it, we work for it, and when we achieve it, we feel calm and satisfaction. Although sometimes it does not materialize, just by having put the desire to achieve it, the experience remains and that can even serve as a support for other challenges.

It is impressive how one person can make the lives of many people change, it seems something unusual, things that should be everyday become a challenge, it is real, it is not a novel.

The life of the Venezuelan has become a real challenge, -the good part of this is that we have learned to put before us any challenge, some have been strengthened, since they have learned to face their fears and face whatever comes, even if their lives are lost on the way-.

Since you go to bed at night, you already know that the challenge is that, if, for example, you go out to get gas, you must leave before 2:00 a.m., if you want to be in the first hundred cars, now, if for some reason you were able to leave at 2:05 a.m., then it is likely that you will enter the second group. You come back home around 3:00 p.m. with a lot of luck if the tanker arrives.

Pues, seguiré lavando a mano.

¡Y aprendí a hacer limonada!.

If you are going to wash clothes, you have to program how many washing machines you can do before the water or electricity service goes out, therefore, you have to get up at least one hour before the water is turned on to organize what you are going to try to wash or what an external entity determines that you will be able to wash.

Additionally, pray and ask the saint of your devotion -whatever you believe in-, that the water does not run out before. Tell me, my beautiful and appreciated readers, if this is not a challenge? But, yes, we must try not to let it drive us crazy, not to let it take away our peace of mind.

Now, sometimes we don't always get what we want, because if we like to take a hot bath, sometimes it has to be early, almost at dawn, so that there is plenty of water, otherwise the water heater doesn't work and can be damaged. One of my recent challenges was to have my washing machine repaired, but the technician arrived and there was no water and when he returned, then there was no electrical service.

Then he called me three days later and there was no electric service and no water. So, I will continue to wash by hand. Even so, I feel and think that I have to look for the easy part of life in order to be able to adapt, and not collapse in the face of some vicissitudes with which life surprises us from time to time.

My father used to say: "If lemons fall from the sky, learn to make lemonade". And I learned how to make lemonade!

Although I tell you according to my own criteria, there are challenges that are already given to us since we are born, you know? We have not opened our eyes wide and they already tell us, as the first challenge:

  • Cry so that the lungs develop. Why doesn't the doctor say: laugh? I think that from that moment on people learn, it is to cry, to suffer, thinking about it 🤔 , laughing is a challenge, thank God I made it -I try to always look for the good, positive side of life, what makes me happy-.
  • If you are a woman - matriarchal society - you must get married before you are thirty years old, otherwise you are left to dress saints. And don't believe it, there are women who believe it just like that... Open your eyes! Then comes the challenge against time and to pray that you don't reach thirty years of age - and so on.

Now come the personal challenges, what we want to achieve. In my life I have had many challenges, some I have achieved, others not, among these are: to be a good daughter, sister and friend, to love, care for and protect children -especially my nephews- and animals, far above my interests.

Focused on studying and graduating to help my parents. I managed to graduate with a degree in Business Administration and immediately went out into the work field.

One of my achievements is being happily divorced. I am one of those people who think and it is my criterion -I respect that of others- that the couple, as its name indicates, is of two: it is a contract of equality, the two must love, respect, tolerate, cooperate, among many other things, when that does not work on the part of any of the parts, the best thing is to leave for the healthy, to take the right direction.

When the balance starts to get heavier on one side than the other, and you have already talked, dialogued and all its synonyms, for me that is no longer working, therefore, you have to stop it, even if there are children involved, because in the long run they are the most affected.

For a long time now my great challenge is to be happy -although happiness is relative-, and to enjoy my family and friends -to recover what the covid-19 did not let me do-. I make my own decisions, I let and learned to do the things I like and not what others want me to do. That makes me be at peace with myself, have quality of life, with whatever little or much I have.

Sometimes I think that people tend to confuse quality of life with material things and for me it is not like that. I prefer to eat a bread and butter in healthy peace, that I enjoy, alone, next to my pets or the people I appreciate and love.

One of my challenges for some time now is to stop living on appearances, for the sake of others, for me that is behind me and I learned to say what I feel, no matter who likes it, this way I keep my throat healthy. Stop wasting time in banal discussions, yes, if I must and I have to defend my point of view I will do it.

I enjoy doing what I want to do and what I like. I have always liked some extreme sports: for example, tandem parachute jumping (later I will make a post about that experience) and my challenge was to try to be among the clouds and so it was.

Hivers friends, taking on challenges is no easy task, but the focus should never be that it is not possible. Working towards it, having the certainty that it can be achieved is already a gain. In case of not achieving it, never allow that to cut the hope in new challenges.

Controlling or eradicating fears will help make it possible for dreams, challenges to come true.
