Mi hijo es un niño muy afortunado, tiene un gran padre, un padre que me ha acompañado en este transitar como madre, desde el día en que nos enteramos de que traeríamos un hijo al mundo. Para mí ha sido un apoyo fundamental, me acompaño a todas mis consultas, me cuido durante todo el embarazo y desde que nuestro pequeño Angel Enrique nació, hace ya 2 años y siete meses, ha demostrado ser un padre ejemplar.

Un padre ejemplar es ese padre que está presente en la vida de su hijo, a pesar del miedo que pueda llegar a tener por asumir esta gran responsabilidad, a pesar de todas las dudas e incertidumbres que se nos presenta por ser padres primerizos. A pesar de todas las situaciones difíciles y a veces estresantes que todos enfrentamos en este maravilloso y complejo proceso.

My son is a very lucky boy, he has a great father, a father who has accompanied me in this journey as a mother, since the day we found out we were bringing a son into the world. For me he has been a fundamental support, he accompanied me to all my consultations, he took care of me during the whole pregnancy and since our little Angel Enrique was born, 2 years and seven months ago, he has proven to be an exemplary father.

An exemplary father is that father who is present in his child's life, in spite of the fear that he may have to assume this great responsibility, in spite of all the doubts and uncertainties that are presented to us as first time parents. Despite all the difficult and sometimes stressful situations that we all face in this wonderful and complex process.

Un niño de dos años, no conoce aún acerca de fechas y días especiales, pero desde pequeño quiero inculcarle el valor del agradecimiento y el don de compartir, enseñarle que no se necesita tener mucho dinero para dar un detalle, quiero que aprecie las cosas sencillas, esos regalitos que nacen del corazón y por eso son invaluables.

La tarde del sábado, mientras jugábamos un rato, le dije: Hijo, vamos a hacerle un regalo a tu papá. Al escuchar la palabra, regalo, salto de la emoción, pensó que el regalo era para él. 🤣. En realidad en ese momento no sabía que realizar, al principio quería hacer algún tipo de manualidad, pero me di cuenta de que no tenía suficiente pegamento.

Entonces se me ocurrió hacer una tarjeta, recordé que tenía unas fotos impresas del bebé, busque una cartulina decorada y deje que el niño escogiera que foto usar, también permití que jugara un rato con la tijera e intentara recortar un poco, esto es un buen ejercicio para estimular su capacidad motora, él por su parte no podía estar más emocionado.

Pegue la foto sobre la cartulina y le escribí "Te amo Papá". El resto sería decorado por el bebé, busque, pintura y él no tardo ni un segundo en llenarse toda la mano y la cara de pintura. Y como no hay nada más único que nuestras huellas, anime al niño a que colocara sus manitas sobre la cartulina y listo. Regalo culminado.

Fue un momento muy divertido para ambos, me gusto ver como el niño mostró interés en lo que estábamos realizando, además fue una buena oportunidad de enseñarle algunas palabras y el uso de los objetos. Definitivamente, estas actividades fortalecen su desarrollo. Una vez terminamos salió corriendo y gritando: Papá regalo, papá regalo.

On Saturday afternoon, while we were playing for a while, I told him: Son, let's give your dad a present. When he heard the word, gift, he jumped with excitement, he thought the gift was for him. 🤣. Actually at that time I didn't know what to make, at first I wanted to make some kind of craft, but I realized I didn't have enough glue.

Then it occurred to me to make a card, I remembered that I had some printed pictures of the baby, I looked for a decorated cardboard and let the child choose which picture to use, I also let him play for a while with the scissors and try to cut out a little bit, this is a good exercise to stimulate his motor skills, he for his part could not be more excited.

I glued the picture on the cardboard and wrote "I love you Daddy". The rest would be decorated by the baby, look, paint and it didn't take him a second to get paint all over his hand and face. And since there is nothing more unique than our handprints, I encouraged the child to place his little hands on the cardboard and that was it. Gift completed.

It was a very fun moment for both of us, I liked to see how the child showed interest in what we were doing, it was also a good opportunity to teach him some words and the use of objects. Definitely, these activities strengthen his development. Once we finished he came out running and shouting: Daddy gift, daddy gift.

Es hermoso ver, el amor que él nos demuestra es un niño muy cariñoso, además ya dice palabras como te amo y es realmente gratificante escucharlo, decirnos eso. Le gusta mucho pasar tiempo con su papá, salir juntos, ver TV, jugar. Estoy segura de que serán un gran equipo.
