El día de hoy les hablaré acerca de la importancia de llevar a los niños al parque, sus beneficios y algunas recomendaciones basadas en mi propia experiencia.

En una sociedad dominada por la tecnología, cada día es más importante promover actividades de recreación, que no involucre una pantalla, incentivar a los niños a ser precisamente esto, niños, que salgan al aire libre, entren en contacto con la naturaleza, exploren y descubran por sí mismo el mundo que los rodea.

Durante la inscripción de mi niño al jardín de infancia, su futura profesora me dijo algo que quedo dando vueltas en mi cabeza, para ella los niños que vivieron el primer año de vida durante la pandemia, pueden llegar a tener, en algunos casos, problemas para relacionarse, pueden llegar a ser más introvertidos, pues la estimulación durante los primeros años de vida, influye en su vida, en su desarrollo, incluso en su personalidad. Si lo analizamos un poco, esto tiene sentido, sabemos que los niños necesitan una adecuada estimulación en todos los sentidos, visual, sensorial, auditiva, gustativa y olfativa. Salir de casa y darles a conocer nuevos espacios, es fundamental para esto.

Cuando mi hijo cumplió los tres meses, comenzó la pandemia, desde entonces no salimos a menos que fuera necesario, no compartió con otros niños además de su primo y aunque no creo que esto lo haya perjudicado, creo que si ha influido un poco en su desenvolvimiento social.

En medio de esta conversación ella me dice: te dejaré la primera tarea como representante, debes llevar periódicamente al niño al parque, como parte de su preparación para iniciar esta nueva etapa en su vida. Inicialmente, esto me sorprendió, pero definitivamente es una idea que me encanto.

Hace algunos días lo llevamos a un conocido parque de la Ciudad de Mérida, llamado el Parque de la Isla, es un parque muy bonito al aire libre, donde los juegos se encuentran ubicados sobre arena, pero aunque tiene algunas atracciones para niños pequeños, la mayoría están destinados a niños más grandes, ya que los toboganes por ejemplo son más altos, en medio del parque hay un pequeño lago artificial donde se dan paseos en bote, el lugar está rodeado de árboles, es muy fresco, tranquilo, es perfecto para pasar un buen día en familia.

Él, al principio, estaba tímido, no quería participar, poco a poco, fue sintiéndose más seguro e intento disfrutar de la rueda, balancearse en el columpio y con ayuda se lanzó por el tobogán, él sube y baja y los túneles, aún le dan miedo, lo intenta, pero pide que lo bajen de una vez. Cada vez que vamos a sitios como este, llega a casa agotado y duerme por horas, creo que se relaja bastante y cada vez se nota como ha progresado, se nota un cambio no solo en su actitud sino también en sus habilidades y destrezas.

He, at first, was shy, he didn't want to participate, little by little, he felt more confident and tried to enjoy the wheel, swinging on the swing and with help he went down the slide, he goes up and down and the tunnels, he is still afraid, he tries, but he asks to be taken down at once. Every time we go to places like this, he comes home exhausted and sleeps for hours, I think he relaxes quite a bit and each time you notice how he has progressed, you notice a change not only in his attitude but also in his skills and abilities.

Los parques son espacios destinados para la recreación y diversión de los niños, pero más allá de esto, están pensados para ser un gran medio de aprendizaje donde los niños tienen esa ventana abierta para explorar, interactuar, descubrirse, vencer sus miedos y desarrollar habilidades cognitivas, motoras y sociales.

Llevarlos al parque es una excelente opción para hacer que esto sea posible.

Uno de los principales beneficios que tenemos al llevarlos al parque, es que ellos puedan socializar e interactuar con otros niños fuera de su entorno familiar, es decir, mientras ellos se divierten, los preparamos para la vida, para que desarrollen habilidades de comunicación.
