Day 8 of #inktober with A witchy Drawing called Pumpkin Spice Tea

Here we have day eight #inktober. It is actually day 9 and I have penned that, but I'm posting a day late to include my coordinated vlogs.

Today we find our inspiration gleaned from heading to my cut flower garden. I planted a few of my new favourite variety of pumpkin, which are almost magical pinkish apricot coloured. They are called "porcelain doll" and their colour is wonderful.

Here it sits on the posts of the little picket fence that surrounds my seaside cut flower garden. It's just a small plat and adjacent to my little veg plot. I do struggle a bit with the ocean breezes, but with fencing and such we manage. This darling was ready and I cut it and headed into make a vignette to inspire my drawing for today.

Tho I had intended on setting it up on my desk in my studio, I decided to raid hubby's study in the house, as his desk is always cleaner than my studio. Tho we both have benefit of sea view windows, mine in my studio does have a crack running through whilst his is nice and clear.

And here we have day 8 inktober Pumpkin Spice tea. Now I know you might not see the 'sea' in the 'sea and tea' theme but you'll have to take my word for it that the lovely lady is indeed a mermaid. I had intended for a stylized tail to be in the image but I liked the patterns of the steam from the tea far more.

I am trying to also post a daily vlog on my youtube channel as well, so here you can watch my little adventure of gleaning the pumkin from my small garden and setting it up in Hubby's study. They are short but it's been fun to try and post daily.
