💎Teaching "days of the week" to Young - no native - learners can be quite tricky. To learn the days of the week, a child needs to memorize them.

👩‍🏫Tips for Teaching Days of the Week to Children:

🧐Explain in Simple Terms:

Explain to your child that there are seven days in a week. You can say that each week has six school days and one play day too.

🧐Story telling:
Hi, my name is Sponge Bob. At school, I study many subjects:
Sciences, maths, French, physical education, Arabic, English and music.
On Monday, I go to school.
On Tuesday, I go to school.
On Wednesday, I go to school.
On Thursday, I go to school.
On Friday, I go to school.
On Saturday, I go to school.
On Sunday, there is no school. I play with my friends all the day.

🧐Break down Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow:

Teaching yesterday, today, and tomorrow to 4th grade learner is important to make him learn about the days of the week. Explain to your child that yesterday is the day before today. Name the day and connect it with an activity that he did yesterday. Do the same to explain the concept of today and tomorrow.

🧐Play Games
Plan interesting ‘days of the week’ games for your young learners:
Write the days on different pieces of paper and mix them up.
You can even make a ‘ days of the week’ chart for your toddler, and schedule his activities on it using crayons and coloured pencils.

If a teacher becomes an excellent storyteller, he or she can ensure that any concept they teach will be remembered for years to come. Good work 😍

Play lets young learners practise what they know, and also what they don’t. It allows them to experiment through trial and error, find solutions to problems, work out the best strategies, and build new confidence and skills. Good work dear teacher @donisor.
