Wednesday Walk - A Wonderful Walk To A Hidden Beach

Hello everyone, horay!!! It's Wednesday again.
From the day I found out about this wonderful Wednesday Walk community, I have arranged for myself a walk every Wednesday. Of course, you can post about your walk on other days of the week, but I like to put it in my to-do-list every Wednesday because I'm usually quite lazy and procrastinate on unscheduled things. specific. Like I said, this is a great community, not only does it help me stay active, but I can also share about my walks and see other people's amazing walks from around the world. gender. This week, me and my friends took another nature hike to a hidden beach called Banana Beach.

Where is this beautiful beach?

It is a hidden beach located at the foot of Hai Van pass, about 30km from the center of Da Nang city. The reason it's called Banana Beach is because there used to be a lot of bananas here, but now it's not. It is a very unspoiled beach, located in the middle of nature and no people live here. And especially, if you pay attention on the map, you will see, on a long coastline running along the foothills of the northern pass of Hai Van, it is the only beach with sand. While all the remaining beaches are rocky beaches. That's exactly what I like about this beach.

How was the journey here?

To get here, we had to ride a motorbike to the top of Hai Van pass and then go to the other side of the pass in Thua Thien Hue province. We really enjoyed the journey on Hai Van pass because of its majestic beauty on both sides of the road. You should try it once if you have a chance.

Then we had to enter this small street:

And we continue to drive motorbikes until the BVR Station at the end of the road:

We then parked our motorbikes there to hike through the forest to Banana Beach. In the dry season, it usually takes us about an hour to trek down to the beach. However, this is the rainy season, in some sections of the forest road, there are fallen trees blocking the forest, the road is flooded and the trees have become overgrown after a long time no one has come here due to the pandemic, so it took us over 1.5 hours to reach the beach. It was an exshausting walk, but we all enjoyed it very much thanks to the refreshing nature provided.

Luckily, we found a star fruit tree along the path, which provided us with lots of water and vitamins.

What's there?

Of course, the first thing we saw when we got there was its long sandy beach. This is a great place for physical activities on the beach. The sea water there is quite clean and clear, making it a great place to swim, we even saw the seabed in the sunshine. Also, walking towards the end of the sandy beach, we discovered the rocky beach where there is a coral reef. But because the waves are a bit strong this season, we couldn't dive to see the coral. I will come back here in the summer and take pictures of the coral for you to see. I think this would be a great spot to camp overnight because of its privacy and nature. But because it was the rainy season, we didn't camp but decided to return before dark when the forest path would be difficult.
