Loc Vung Flower Season - Fragrance of Autumn

Autumn has arrived, it is also the season of Loc Vung flower, which is known as Sesame Buds in English. Around this time of year, the Loc Vung tree in front of my house blooms again. The branches of flowers falling from the tree filled with flower buds give a feeling of full of life. It usually blooms at night giving off a sweet scent, while during the day, the fallen flowers fill the porch like a red carpet welcoming guests to the home or business of the owner. In Vietnam, we often plant Loc Vung in front of our house or in front of our businesses such as restaurants, cafes, shops, etc. We believe that the red color of Loc Vung flowers will bring us good luck. And Its name itself has a similar meaning. Loc means "luck and money", while Vung means "a lot, countless". So it also becomes a meaningful gift to give to others on occasions such as housewarming or grand opening.
