Hola, mi querida comunidad de Hive Open Mic. Me gustó mucho la temática "Un Corazón Agradecido", propuesta por nuestra Artista Destacada @hopestylist. Me dio la oportunidad de cantar la canción "Amigo Mío" que interpretara Ana Gabriel en honor del inolvidable astro mexicano Juan Gabriel (Juanga). Es una canción muy hermosa, ya que ella le da las gracias a él no solo en su propio nombre sino en el de todo el pueblo mexicano.

Fue un homenaje que él pudo disfrutar ya que se le hizo en vida y Ana Gabriel lo interpretó con nucho sentimiento.

Juan Gabriel fue un prolífico compositor y cada canción suya era totalmente diferente a las otras, cantante también y un gran ser humano a quien la vida golpeó mucho de niño pero que llegó a adulto sin resentimientos sino con generosidad en su corazón.

Espero les guste mi versión. Me grabó mi hija Érika (quien canta también pero aún no se atreve a enfrentarse a la cámara del móvil) y conté con el apoyo instrumental de mi amiga María Teresa.





Hello, my dear Hive Open Mic community. I really liked the theme "A Grateful Heart", proposed by our Spotlight Artist @hopestylist. It gave me the opportunity to sing the song "Amigo Mío" (My Friend) performed by Ana Gabriel in honor of the unforgettable Mexican star Juan Gabriel (Juanga). It is a very beautiful song, as she thanks him not only on her own behalf but on behalf of all the Mexican people.

It was a tribute that he was able to enjoy since it was done to him while he was alive and Ana Gabriel interpreted it with great feeling.

Juan Gabriel was a prolific composer and each of his songs was totally different from the others, a singer as well and a great human being who was hit hard by life as a child but who reached adulthood without resentment but with generosity in his heart.

I hope you like my version. My daughter Érika recorded me (who also sings but still doesn't dare face the mobile camera) and I had the instrumental support of my friend María Teresa.

Nos trajo un tema legendario de estos 2 increíbles músicos, uno ya partió al cielo y la otra aun continua regalándonos su voz.

Hi, dear friend @jesus-son, I'm so glad you liked this song. It is possible that its roots are in Nigeria, since at the time of the conquest and the colony there were thousands of Africans who were kidnapped from their homes and torn from their families to bring them here to Venezuela to work in the coffee, cocoa and banana farms.

The "coffee with milk" color of our skin comes from that mixture between the autochthonous aborigines, the Iberian conquerors and kidnapped Africans. This mixture is not only manifested in our skin but in our customs, traditions and stands out in our music, whose syncretism is immediately detected by the ears.
