Sport's Day

image.png

My twins had their sport's day on Saturday, due to the covid restrictions only the older kids participated and only parents could attend. sorry Granny and Granpas. But my guess is they are probably glad as they can see all the highlights via pics an video instead of in the heat of the left over summer.

My boys did really well and it is through this event I really got to see the different personalities of my twins. One of them is super serious when it comes to competition, eyes on the prize. While the other twin is more relaxed, actually making jokes and loud screams much like Goku from Dragon Ball Z.

Their team, the Zoe Gumi ( elephant class, all the classes are named after animals) came second and lost to the Panda Clan. But second place is pretty good, last year they got first. One thing with events like this these days in society, there are so many winners, basically every team/class got a Mickey gold medal.

Pitt Balm Deodorant Gift

image.png

I finally got to try my bredrins deodorant called Pitt Balm. He is based in the UK and has started a trendy and eco friendly/ organic deodorant. At first sight it looks nothing like deodorant as it comes in a small capsule. How it is applied is interesting as well as you actually dip your finders in.

I was very skeptical about his product as I am a big stinker in the pitts. But it actually works and the finger dipping isn't that bad as you can rub the excess on other odor spots on the body 😅. the cool thing about this product that makes it eco friendly is that these packs can be refilled at various shops in the UK. according to the his website, this product is Aluminium Free. Cruelty Free.
Plastic Free. Stink Free.

Plantain Chips in The care pack

image.png
A7ED27AA-6EA4-4C13-91FC-83E60EC532B8.jpeg

So the same friend that sent the deodorant, he actually included that in a Jamaican care package I asked him to send. I actually saw him posting an insta story about Ackee and Salt-fish and asked him to send me a package and I would pay him for it. But being the good friend he is, he only accepted the shipping cost and did so for crypto, more specifically XRP.

I have never tried these Grace Plantain chips, they are alright, not something I would go out of my way to get but a good taste of home. One thing with these bags, more air than chips but that seems to be the same across the board no matter what maker or country. I guess it is part of shipping protection/shock absorber as the pack was extremely flat but not opened.

There were some other goodies in the package I will share some other time but I shall avoid posting them on regular social media as Jamaican goods are very hard to get at the moment in Japan and I am known for having the goods. 😆

Have a Blessed Week & Thanks For Reading!

Lol...about the plantain chips...I think I would love them protecting the chips with the chips if that's their strategy for protection.

I would like to try that deodorant... I just use regular sure spray on

Haven't used spray on in years, my arms too stink. Gotta use that roll on stuff. I'm surprised this stuff works well though. It’s small but packs a punch 🤛🏾

My first guess if I had seen that Pitt balm deodorant without reading what's written on the lid would have been a rub or shoe polish😅

Nice video/track(i like Dream Driven)...so what's the "legal status" of cryptos in J right now?
By rolling out the Babylon Coin, will Babylon try to make Cryptos illegal..?

Yeah star. We have to mek that happen. I’m planning to go next year. Maybe Fe ember or summer.

You know it not legal or illegal it just not really recognized by the bank of Jamaica as anything and they advise peeps to stay away, yes because them Babylon coin.

The thing is, it just hard to cash out or in as there is no exchange in Jamaica. The ones that where trying to enter got blocked by the bank of Jamaica and the global exchanges don’t really serve the Jamaican matter. Just a lot of blockages not really caused by one party. But there are ways. But the average Jamaican not gonna figure it out. It man like Donald.

Ah! here your children are enjoying themselves. That's nice. The pandemic is still kidnapping and we must not let our guard down completely. About that deodorant, the truth is very curious the presentation :D And about the chips, here in my country the favorites are the Frito Lays brand, those are the best and also the packages bring more air :(

Hey. Good to see you here. It is indeed kidnapping, kids in masks at the playground is sore sight to see.
The presentation is quite unique for deodorant. As someone mentioned it is like shoe polish packaging 😄

These chips are good, but I think they would taste better home made, but aint nobody got time for that.

Glad to see sports activities being picked up again. Here, only select sport types are allowed and they even stopped with the PE classes here. Don't ask me for the reason, because the Minister of Education hasn't given a clear answer yet. No one from the government for that matter.

And the thing is, physical activities/exercise also contributes to healthy people, but what do I know right?

That deodorant looks like something I would try by the way.

You know they stopped after school sports for about a month and a bit, but since the cases have been going down ( scientists are baffled). Even cleaning of the schools were canceled ( students and teachers clean the school here)

The deodorant good yuh nuh but I can tell baking Soda is the major ingredient. Seems like it can be made at home. But who will really do that…. The creator marketing it hard in London and it’s doing well.

Ah good to know that the number of cases are going down in Japan. Here they're still high and the healthcare and medical workers have been complaining for some time now, that they're short on hands. I really sympathize with them.

Seems like it can be made at home. But who will really do that….

Hahahaha, in my parent's or grandparent's younger days, they used to wash armpits with lime, so I can imagine that we could use household products. The thing is really, who ahs time for that? And to think my parents have lime trees 🙈😅.
