REPUBLIC

Last time I recommended watching KOTA FACTORY. This time I am again writing a review about a movie named "Republic." This movie is from South India and is available to watch in Hindi dubbing. Even if you don't understand Hindi, you can read this blog to see If you can recommend this to your Hindi language friends.

MOVIE POSTER

The pose you see on the poster is the signature of the hero's posture in this film. I wondered if I would try this pose; I might look like a patient more than a hero who lacks vitamins in the body. xD
on the left side, you can notice the hero's father, and on the right side, you can see a lady who is a politician, and her ideologies remind me of pain from naruto.

The Only Unrealistic Part Of Movie:

Till now, I talked highly about this movie being too realistic. Although all the parts of the film are natural, all the love scenes still felt too fake to me. In my opinion, even the Most Realistic Movie has some unnatural elements, but as the story is too realistic, it still has a special place in my heart.

Hero's Father:

Hero's Father is a solid character in this movie. He was honest, but in a train incident, he lost his wife. Mr.honest did his job honestly, and in return, Hero's mother was murdered. He was a living dead personality. He wants to do something for the country every day, but the democratic system is changing him. After losing his wife, he said a final goodbye to honesty and joined the corrupt side to save his son. In the end, when he got a chance, he exposed everyone and accepted his faith in Life Imprisonment.

Politician:

She was not always a corrupt person. Her father was an activist. One day her father was murdered in daylight. On that day, she decided to be an immoral person and be a part of democracy as a politician. He got punishment for her deeds by the efforts of our "Republic" film hero, but on her bed, in hospital, her speech was worth listening to. She explains throughout the movie how the system is flawed and can't change. The movie ended so that it's hard to tell if she continued her corrupt deeds. Most probably, she might have been released through the supreme court.

Hero:

Not all heroes have a happy ending, and he had a sad one too. They were fighting a case for farmers and fishermen. The water was polluted, killing both sides, but the politician was thinking about the number of voters. She provided farmers facilities by law to continue immoral activities, which increased the fish weight of fish meat. It was harmful to the environment. Many farmers committed suicide because of the cold conditions provided by the government, which favors only farmers. Fishers man was also dying because of bacterial infections because of these practices, but they preferred to vote for the politician allowing them to continue immoral practices. "Republic" hero stopped everywhere bad practices or at least as long as he was alive; sadly, he was killed by farmers in the end.

My Final Thoughts:

The hero of this movie was betrayed, and from the start to the end, you can notice two sides of each character. Every character you guessed to be the good guy, but in the future, turns out to be the bad guy. This Movie Hero wasn't doing it for himself but for the others. It's not about who killed him in society. To him, the community was equally responsible. This makes me wonder what we do to protect activists who fight for freedom of speech, free education, equal rights, and more.

Interesting! No English subs ??? I got curious! India's cinematographic scene always amazed me! It looks like an interesting movie that makes you think a lot about society's problems.
