Yesterday when I slept at night, it was raining very hard at that time. But in the morning the wind was blowing with light sunshine….so I thought why not go for a walk for a while….I will start feeling a little fresh....after a small walk.

That's why I went out for a walk in the morning, so there is a small garden just a little far from my house, which is near a beautiful temple. So when I went..I saw many beautiful flowers...

So when I saw the beauty of those flowers, only one thought came to my mind that I should take some pictures of it...then did I immediately take out my camera and start taking pictures..

So, I'm going to just put this out there for anyone else who might be reading.

I like your photos. I'm not personally the kind of guy to like this kind of photography but I do recognise that they are above and beyond just a casual snap with a phone with little else effort so thank you for sharing.

I pride myself with being informative and engage the best I can as a curator. It is the least I can do when trying to grow Liketu and build relationships with contributors. As such, I will basically never vote for a post without at least leaving a comment.

I look at this post and I have a few feelings:

You have used liketu.com to make a post, but you have then gone an edited the post such that the viewing experience is not ideal on liketu.com I understand why you did this. You want other people not viewing it on liketu to also be able to view it as a traditional post. But in doing so, you've basically only got one out of the six pictures you posted in the gallery view on liketu. I feel as though you are neglecting really trying to build a genuine profile and presence there.

Motivation - I think this is the crux really, and that is you probably feel as though you want to tap into the new potential voting power we have here to monetize. I don't really mind people being financially motivated, but let me put it this way, I didn't spend millions of dollars buying Hive, hundreds of thousands of dollars hiring developers, 3 years of my life developing it to not have my own financial incentive. It's pretty simple really, I want people to use liketu.com genuinely and try foster a brand new community there, participate with the new ways we have created, and interact with other people there.

I get concerned when people show up with no interaction at all on liketu.com. This is especially concerning when we have reduced the barrier of interaction to just a simple like/react. Frankly, it is shocking.

Now, you might say you have no interest in that, well that is absolutely your right. This is an open platform and everyone has their right to choose what to participate in. At the same time, it is my right to express my concerns when people show up with behaviour pointing to nothing else but vote fishing.

I have expressed elsewhere that I am not an orthodox rewards policeman. I believe in short-form content as a valid form of content with just as much impact and virulent potential as any. In many cases I believe it has even more potential than traditional blogs. But what I do care about, is people being social. We cannot be a social media platform if no one is willing to be social. So I'm going to really look at people's overall motives and decide if what they're posting is generating a buzz, or if its a transactional and you are just here to add another potential avenue of rewards.

Where do we go from here?

I will curate your post based on good will, and as a person seeing it from outside the perspective of being a liketu founder - nothing more than a regular Hive community member looking at your post and thinking "That's pretty nice, it's not the kind of content I'd personally go and seek out but I can see why someone else might like it. Clearly he's put some effort into making it presentable"

But I will also add, that if you want to succeed, here or otherwise, then you're going to have to try build a community of people other than large stakeholders who will collectively vote to reward you. Larger stake holders will see the network effects you create, and then will be much more ready to reward you for not just contributing, but also engaging!

I hope you find this comment to help you on your journey, and may we have a good relationship in earnest.

I haven't started exploring liketu properly yet but when I first saw it I was worried it might become a reward farm if you, and the team you might or might now have, were loose with curation. I'm glad to see that's not the case. Looking forward to see Liketu grow on Hive. Your frontend is looking great.
