Aipan art

Hlo,hy, namaste to all reaching this post.hope doing great, today I am going to share a aipan art made by me in a chowki. I made that in my maternal home at Almora I was unable to post that time. I was there for 10 to 12 days and now I am back home Haldwani, I reached Haldwani yesterday only (Maan toh nhi ho rha thaa ane ka 🥲). I didn't know how that 10 to 12 days passed away. It took me 3-4 days to complete this (it would be completed surely in 1 and half day only but as I am a very lazy person so it took these much days. This art can be made in any plain surface . It is usually made in deli , Tulsi , chowki etc. This was my first aipan art which I made by my own without any help. Usually I used to make it with my mother but this time I was gone there alone so I had to make it by my own only.

So here are the steps and some material required.
Red and white paint (deli related paint),brush ,a cloth or cotton (for correcting mistakes),Turpentine oil (used for removal of paint).
Steps
Paint the surface with red colour and then leave it till it dry properly(I painted the chowki at evening and left it for drying whole night and in the morning time put under the sunlight for half hour).

When it dried completely ,I started with the drawing part which has to be done with white paint. But before that I made a very light drawing of the pattern I planned to make and border lines with measurements because I am not that perfect at this 🥲.

After that I started making a star in the centre of that chowki and then

made the foot of goddess Lakshmi Mata.
Then gradually made lines inside the the triangle in the star.

After completion of this I made a circle outside the star and by leaving some gape made one more circle. Then made some flowers in the remaining portion

Between the two circle make a pattern of half leave (paan ka pata)

Then I made lines small to large then large to small which is usually called aipan outside the circle.

After that I started making the border design using the triangle pattern inside which I made design of flowers.

Same thing I repeated for all the four borders.

As the space between the circle and border was looking empty empty that's why I made a small pattern in the all 4 corners.

After that I made small aipan in the side corners of the chowki.
And here this aipan art was completed.

Hope you liked it liked it I will share some more post related to aipan and Almora soon.
Thank you
Take care 😁
