Hola gente bonita, hoy quiero venir a esta comunidad para hablar de una canción en particular, una canción con la que uno de mis grupos de chicas favorito volvió a posicionarse y a emocionarnos a todos para cantar y bailar con ellas, hoy quiero analizar la canción “Pink Venom” de Blackpink.

Rap vs Melodías | Rap vs Melodies
Algo que se destaca mucho en las canciones del K-pop es esos momentos donde el grupo completo muestra su talento vocal con melodías y armonías hermosas que destacan y de repente en algún auge del coro agregan un pedazo de rap que combina y demuestra quien del grupo es la experta en el rap de todas, y le dan un toque bastante urbano a la canción sin importar si es muy alegre.
Something that stands out a lot in K-pop songs is those moments where the whole group shows off their vocal talents with beautiful melodies and harmonies that stand out and suddenly at some peak of the chorus they add a rap bit that combines and shows who in the group is the rap expert of them all, and gives the song a pretty urban touch no matter how upbeat it is.
En este caso la canción es bastante urbana ya que, aunque tiene unos momentos donde las voces de las integrantes se destacan sus armonías lo que más destaca es el rap, cosa llamativa para mi pues la mayoría de las veces solo lo utilizan como un elemento extra en la canción, pero en este caso fue lo que más destacó, pues el coro es un estilo de rap bastante pegajoso que se repite mucho en tu cabeza.
In this case the song is quite urban because, although it has some moments where the voices of the members stand out their harmonies what stands out the most is the rap, something striking for me because most of the times they only use it as an extra element in the song, but in this case it was what stood out the most, because the chorus is a quite catchy rap style that repeats a lot in your head.
El hecho también que hicieran la canción para mí fue un riesgo bastante agradable, pues conozco este grupo y solo 2 de las 4 integrantes saben y rapean en las canciones, entonces el arriesgarse así podía hacer ver que solo cantaban 2 en la canción, pero en realidad las partes donde las otras dos cantan combina muy bien y hacen excelentes puentes para bailar y cantar a todo el pulmón el coro.
The fact that they did the song was also a nice risk for me, because I know this group and only 2 of the 4 members know and rap in the songs, so taking this risk could make it seem that only 2 sing in the song, but in reality the parts where the other two sing combine very well and make excellent bridges to dance and sing the chorus at the top of their lungs.

Siempre los fondos musicales que utilizan las canciones de Blackpink están llenos de elementos muy interesantes, desde instrumentos del medio oriente con los bajos muy prominentes para que reboten en tus oídos, hasta sonidos agudos u onomatopeyas reconocibles para que te alarmen y no pierdas la atención en la canción, también sin perder los elementos más occidentales que son la fórmula para que esta música suene en todos los mayores países posibles.
Always the musical backgrounds that Blackpink's songs use are full of very interesting elements, from middle eastern instruments with very prominent basses to bounce in your ears, to high pitched sounds or recognizable onomatopoeias to alarm you and keep your attention on the song, also without losing the more western elements that are the formula to make this music sound in as many countries as possible.
Decidieron que en el coro el bajo fuera lo que más acompañaran a las chicas, junto con algún otro instrumento de cuerda, pero mucho menos potente o alto como pasa en las estrofas y puentes de la canción. Esto se nota más cuando escuchas la canción con cornetas con muy buena potencia y con buen volumen, pues notas un bajón de fondo en la canción en el coro para que te concentres en el cantar y moverte al ritmo de la canción, es una buena explosión que perturba al cerebro para que prestes mucha más atención a todo lo que está pasando.
They decided that in the chorus the bass would be the main accompaniment for the girls, along with some other string instrument, but much less powerful or loud as it happens in the verses and bridges of the song. This is more noticeable when you listen to the song with horns with very good power and with good volume, because you notice a background bass in the song in the chorus so that you concentrate on singing and moving to the rhythm of the song, it is a good explosion that disturbs the brain so that you pay much more attention to everything that is happening.

Lo llamé así porque, para mí, lo primero que yo pensé al escuchar desde el minuto 1:16 de la canción empieza el rap más intenso de toda la canción, pues el bit que decidieron utilizar es una increíble referencia a rap bastante oldschool, algo que no es común en grupos de K-pop y mucho menos en grupos de chicas, obviamente mi cabeza lo representó con el juego GTA San Andreas por ser un juego que utiliza muchas canciones de rap de los 2000 y hasta un poco más atrás.
I called it that way because, for me, the first thing I thought when listening from minute 1:16 of the song starts the most intense rap of the whole song, as the bit they decided to use is an incredible reference to quite oldschool rap, something that is not common in K-pop groups and even less in girl groups, obviously my head represented it with the game GTA San Andreas for being a game that uses many rap songs from the 2000s and even a little bit further back.
Blackpink en esta parte del rap con Lisa y Jennie decidieron utilizar un fondo muy inspirado en canciones de Hip Hop como I Wanna Rock de Snoop Dogg, P.I.M.P. de 50 Cent y así, tanto que también lo destacaron en el resto de la canción, pues como ya mencioné el Hip Hop es lo que más destacó en esta canción, ganándole un poco a las partes de melodías de las voces, entonces se nota algo de inpiración también en Rihanna y The notorious B.I.G.
Blackpink in this part of the rap with Lisa and Jennie decided to use a background very inspired by Hip Hop songs like I Wanna Rock by Snoop Dogg, P.I.M.P. by 50 Cent and so on, so much so that they also highlighted it in the rest of the song, because as I already mentioned Hip Hop is what stood out the most in this song, winning a little bit to the melody parts of the vocals, then you notice some inspiration also in Rihanna and The notorious B.I.G.
La agresividad de la letra | Aggressive handwriting
Este nuevo álbum tiene como objetivo a aclararle a todos aquellos haters, o fans falsos que dicen que se “están desviando de su estilo” y decidieron que con esta canción iba a ser mucho más agresivos, pues golpean diciendo “Yo no hablo, yo demuestro” con las marcas que ellas llevan, el nivel de embajadoras que son cada integrante y muchos otros poderes que cada integrante tienen.
This new album aims to clarify to all those haters, or fake fans who say that they are "deviating from their style" and decided that with this song they were going to be much more aggressive, because they hit saying "I do not speak, I show" with the brands that they carry, the level of ambassadors that are each member and many other powers that each member has.
Golpean a los haters y les dicen que los van a envenenar, que pierden su tiempo y no le sacan provecho a ninguna de sus vacías palabras para lastimarlas, mientras que ellas no les duele nada y siempre están produciendo con su gran talento y muy buen equipo. Es muy interesante, porque a veces se utiliza en la letra muchas referencias o metáforas para no ser tan directos con el mensaje, pero en esta ocasión prefirieron ser demasiado literal y directo con el mensaje sin miedo y lo mejor que no necesitaron decir ni groserías ni mencionar armas para ello.
They hit the haters and tell them that they are going to poison them, that they are wasting their time and don't take advantage of any of their empty words to hurt them, while they don't hurt anything and are always producing with their great talent and very good team. It is very interesting, because sometimes they use in the lyrics many references or metaphors to not be so direct with the message, but this time they preferred to be too literal and direct with the message without fear and the best thing is that they didn't need to say rude words or mention weapons for it.
De verdad para mi esta canción fue un comienzo para un álbum con una temática mucho más interesante que el álbum anterior así que yo estoy muy emocionada y feliz de ver como Blackpink, un grupo que admiro mucho haya vuelto con demasiada fuerza y sin miedo a nada en esta industria de la música. Si llegaste hasta aquí te tengo una pregunta ¿Qué camisa de futbol utilizaron en el video de Pink Venom? Usaron una camisa de un equipo inglés, los leo en los comentarios a ver si notaron cual fue.
Really for me this song was a start for an album with a much more interesting theme than the previous album so I am very excited and happy to see how Blackpink, a band that I admire a lot has come back with so much strength and without fear of anything in this music industry. Recuerdo con mucho cariño el día en que ví el estreno de esta canción, estuve con mis hermanos esperando a que se hiciera el momento exacto y así poder ver el vídeo. ¡Vaya que valió la pena! Tremenda joya de canción y que pedazo de obra maestra. Nada nuevo en las reinas del Kpop, ellas nos trajeron un fuerte regreso que solo ellas pudieron superar luego con el mismísimo Shut Down. Me encantó tu análisis, y no eres la única que asoció el segundo verso con GTA, yo también lo hice jajaja.😅
