The Green Church of Olivos [ENG/ESP]
Hello to all Hive friends! It is a pleasure for me to greet you and bring you content that is not only photographic but also informative.
Have you ever seen a church covered with vegetation? Well, I haven't!
I discovered this church while I was walking in the northern area of Buenos Aires and I had to stop to photograph it obviously, I had not seen anything like it and it looked like a hidden church. I want to share with you some of the pictures I was able to take.

¿Habían visto alguna ve una iglesia cubierta de vegetación? Bueno, yo no!
Esta iglesia la descubrí mientras estaba caminando por la zona norte de la ciudad de Buenos Aires y tuve que detenerme a fotografiarla obviamente, no había visto nada igual y parecía de hecho una iglesia escondida. Quiero compartir con ustedes algunas de las fotos que pude tomarle.
I have been living in the city for several years now and taking pictures of many churches but this is totally different. It caught my attention and I decided to look for some information about it.
The church is called: Jesus in the olive garden, it is a catholic parish, famous for its facade full of vines that becomes very noticeable when the spring and autumn seasons arrive and well, it is spring here.
The decision to cover it in this way was the idea of the engineer and at the same time father Jorge Garralda, but why? I do not know 😄, I did not find information about this unknown but it seems to me a brilliant idea.
Tengo ya varios años viviendo en la ciudad y tomando fotos de muchas iglesias pero esto es diferente totalmente. Me llamó muchísimo la atención y decidí buscar un poco de información al respecto.
La iglesia lleva por nombre: Jesús en el huerto de olivos, es una parroquia católica, famosa por su fachada llena de enredaderas que se hace muy notable cuando llega las temporadas de primavera y otoño y bueno, es que estamos en primavera acá.
La decisión de cubrirla de esta forma fue idea del ingeniero y a la vez padre Jorge Garralda pero, ¿Por qué? No lo sé 😄, no encontré información sobre esa incógnita pero me parece una idea brillante.
It has a remarkable neo-gothic style and, although I am not a church-goer for religious reasons, I would like one day to be able to enter the interior of this church and see what it would look like inside!

Tiene un notable estilo neogótico y, aunque no soy de frecuentar iglesias por motivos religiosos me gustaría un día poder acceder al interior de esta iglesia y ver cómo sería su apariencia dentro de ella!
