Martabak telur pak kumis 📷 Monomad Challenge
I know it as Martabak Arang, yes, this typical Acehnese culinary dish is a combination of canai, egg and cooked using charcoal.
Martabak telur has become one of the favorite snacks in Aceh, including in my hometown Matangglumpangdua.
The difference is, if in other cities they already cook martabak using a gas stove, here they still use charcoal as a fire to cook it.
This snack has been around since 1990, this is the second generation, they are the children of Pak Kumis who continue the business started by their parents 34 years ago.
I had the opportunity to take some pictures at the outlet that I have visited since I was a kid. Even though it has been continued by his generation, Martabak Arang Pak Kumis has not lost its distinctive taste.
