Hoy te presento una canción que me trae muchos recuerdos de cuando era niño, ya que mis padres escuchaban música venezolana y muchos otros géneros musicales más, entre los cuales figuran la salsa.
Esta canción se titula Bohemia, del compositor Willie Colón, de padres puerto riqueños y nacido en Estados Unidos. Desde los 11 años mostró interes por los instrumentos de viento, iniciandose en el clarinete, luego estudió trombón y trompeta para dedicarse por entero a la música.
Esta canción es una salsa suave y tiene una melodía que se puede distinguir y grabar en la memoria fácilmente, Ésta canción siempre me llamó especialmente la atención porque tiene un solo de un instrumento que no sabía cual era, me puse a investigar hace tiempo y descubrí que es un Laúd, tocado por un gran instrumentista de Cuba y virtuoso de nombre Barbarito Torres y desde entonces me gustó más la canción porque lleva éste instrumento emparentado con la mandolina.
