Goose Goose Duck is a game that uses the premise and successful formula of Among Us, which is to gather a number of players inside a room to distrust each other and try to figure out who the imposter is. But with something different, and that is that instead of being colorful crew members, they are colorful ducks and geese.

The story itself is very short, and is that some ducks infiltrate a ship/village/base to overthrow the empire of the geese, how? By disguising themselves as them, of course.

In order to achieve his goal, the duck will have to assassinate all the geese; And in order for the geese to win, they will have to do all the tasks or discover the impostor before it's too late, But.... How? With the roles.

LOTS OF ROLES AND MAPS!

Let's go with one of the great features of this game, and that is the roles.

The roles are the roles that the game randomly gives each player, these are so that each player has a different objective and several ways to play. And it is that unlike Among Us that only brings 6 roles, in Goose Goose Duck there are 30 roles (multiplying almost x6 the number of roles in Among Us), making the game quite diverse and fun at the same time for the different mechanics it offers.

As if that were not enough, there are also 8 different maps, being the ones in the following image, each one being different from the other and with very exotic themes. Also, they come with hiding places and lots of screens, which is great for both geese and ducks.

Voice Chat, A Quite Interesting Mechanic

Voice chat is one of the most interesting things about this game, since apart from being able to chat in meetings to vote for the impostor, you can also chat while you play, thanks to a mechanic called “proximity”

Try that, while you are playing, you can chat with other players who are close to you. This is a great thing because you can be asked (and vice versa) what you're doing, to save suspicion before the geese meet.

GAME MODES, CRAFTING, AND MORE!

Let's start with the game modes, which are quite fun, each one has its essence, like for example “GooseHunt”, which is basically about an assassin on the loose who will try to kill everyone as fast as possible before they get killed. run out of time The geese will try to do all the tasks to reduce the time (or they can also hide)

Now the big question, is it better than Among Us?

Although this game is constantly updating, bringing new roles, maps and more, it is still very green on cosmetic issues. Since there are few clothing items compared to Among Us, but if you don't care about that and just care about gameplay, this game is for you. Plus, it's free for PC and Android! Something that's appreciated because Among Us is only free on mobile..

Bring variety of roles, maps and game modes. Something that Among Us doesn't have, mostly because Among Us developers don't update their game in the playable area (in cosmetics it's the king, with collaborations like Halo or Arcane).

Todos conocemos a Among Us, el gran juego que se caracteriza por su gran interacción con el mapa y las personas que juegan en una partida. Pues trata de intentar descubrir quien es el impostor mientras se hacen las tareas de la nave y, para ello, se tiene que tener un gran cuidado, pues tienes que intentar que no te mate el asesino encubierto (o si eres el impostor, que no te descubran).

Sin embargo, hay otro juego, el cual está infravalorado. Es conocido por ser la sombra de Among Us y la copia de este, pero… ¿Realmente es así? En este post hablaremos de Goose Goose Duck, Un Among Us Diferente, ¡con gansos! Así que sin más que decir, ¡empecemos con el post!

Goose Goose Duck, ¿Qué es?

Goose Goose Duck es un juego que usa la premisa y fórmula exitosa de Among Us, el cual es reunir a un número de jugadores dentro de una sala para que desconfíen entre ellos e intenten descubrir quien es el impostor. Pero con algo diferente, y es que en vez de ser tripulantes de colores, son patos y gansos de colores.

La historia en sí es muy corta, y es que unos patos se infiltran en una nave/pueblo/base para derrocar el imperio de los gansos, ¿cómo? Pues disfrazándose de ellos, claro está.

Para poder lograr su objetivo, el pato tendrá que asesinar a todos los gansos; Y para que los gansos ganen, tendrán que hacer todas las tareas o descubrir el impostor antes de que sea demasiado tarde, Pero... ¿Cómo? Con los roles.

¡MUCHOS ROLES Y MAPAS!

Vayamos con una de las grandes características de este juego, y esta es los roles.

Los roles son los papeles que les da el juego aleatoriamente a cada jugador, estos son para que cada jugador tenga un objetivo diferente y varias maneras de jugar. Y es que a diferencia de Among Us que solo trae 6 roles, en Goose Goose Duck hay 30 roles (multiplicando casi el x6 el número de roles que hay en Among Us), Volviendo el juego bastante diverso y divertido a la vez por las diferentes mecánicas que ofrece.

Los roles están divididos en Gansos, neutrales y Patos. Siendo los gansos los buenos, los patos los impostores y los neutrales los capaces de elegir si quieren hacer algo bueno con su rol o ser la mente más malévola dentro de la partida.

Luego están los sub-roles, y hay desde sheriffs y mecánicos hasta palomas, dodos, celebridades y espías. Así que, ¿qué esperas para probar todos estos roles?

Por si no fuera poco, también hay 8 mapas distintos, siendo los que están en la siguiente imagen, cada uno siendo diferente del otro y con temáticas muy exóticas. Además, vienen con escondites y muchas rejillas, algo muy bueno tanto para gansos como para patos.

Chat de Voz, Una Mecánica Bastante Interesante

El chat de voz es una de las cosas más interesantes de este juego, ya que aparte de poder chatear en las reuniones para votar al impostor, puedes también chatear mientras juegas, gracias a una mecánica llamada “proximidad”

Trata de que, mientras estás jugando, puedes chatear con otros jugadores que estén cerca de ti. Esto es algo excelente porque te pueden preguntar (y viceversa) lo que estás haciendo, esto para ahorrar sospechas antes de la reunión de los gansos.

Pero no solo está esto, ¡hay muchas más características!

¡MODOS DE JUEGO, CRAFTING Y MÁS!

Empecemos con los modos de juego, los cuales son bastante divertidos, cada uno tiene su esencia, como por ejemplo “GooseHunt”, el cual trata básicamente de un asesino suelto que tratará de matar a todos lo más rápido posible antes de que se acabe el tiempo. Los gansos tratarán de hacer todas las tareas para reducir el tiempo (o también pueden esconderse)

o como “Pasar el rato” que tan solo es para chatear y jugar algunos minijuegos.

Todos los modos de juegos son increíbles, te invito a probarlos.

Luego está el apartado de crafting, que trata de que cada vez que haces una tarea recibes materiales para poder craftear animaciones de muerte y disfraces., aún está muy temprana, pero se espera que próximamente se puedan craftear banners, fondos de perfil y a lo mejor mascotas, quién sabe.

Y por último los emotes, los cuales puedes comprar con las monedas que te da el juego para poder comprar ropa. Estos emotes se manifiestan en forma de pedos (si, pedos) pulsando la tecla F, es divertido

Conclusión - ¿ES MEJOR QUE AMONG US?

Ahora la gran pregunta, ¿es mejor que Among Us?

A pesar de que este juego se actualiza constantemente, trae nuevos roles, mapas y más, aún está muy verde en temas de cosméticos. Puesto que hay pocas prendas de ropa comparado con Among Us, pero si no te importa eso y solo te importa la jugabilidad, este juego es para ti. Además, ¡Es gratis para PC y Android! Algo que se agradece porque Among Us solo es gratis en móviles.

Trae variedad de roles, mapas y modos de juegos. Algo que en Among Us no hay, más que todo porque los desarrolladores de Among Us no actualizan su juego en el ámbito jugable (en cosméticos es el rey, con colaboraciones como Halo o Arcane)

Así que si ya te aburriste de Among Us, este juego te lo recomiendo al 100%, los usuarios que han probado este juego han dicho que es mejor que Among Us gracias a su gran cantidad de roles, mapas, chat de voz y mecánicas in-game como esconderse en el mapa.
