WE 117 - Saying Goodbye to Hive😢

I haven't been able to sleep well since I heard that this will be my last weekend on Hive, not just for me but for all of us. It feels like a nightmare and I really don't want to wake up. If I say I'm tearing up right now would anyone believe me?
Hive is my little cave of expression, peace and socialism for my anti-social self. For someone who isn't very outgoing and doesn't like to be involved much with people, Hive was my best place to be.
I love how there is a niche for literally anyone. There's no way anyone would come here and feel lost, communities are like our different home addresses, everyone has a place to be.
I love how this space brought out the creativity in us. It encouraged me to try creating my own things and look at me right now, I'm at the verge of publishing my own book even if it's just an ebook, it's a lot for a girl who never thought she was good at anything!
What's life going to be like without all the wonderful people I got to meet? I was just beginning to bond with some people and I was looking forward to bonding with more people and now we have to say goodbye? 😢
Hive fed me on rainy days, kept me sane on crazy days. I was always here putting down how I felt when it was so heavy and I loved how supportive people were. Where do I go from here?
Hive equally made me travel the world with my eyes and mind. It was a pleasure to learn about other people's culture, see other people's country and get to know what's going on in other places even though I'm not there.
If this is really happening then I'm so glad I was introduced to this platform. I will miss everything about this place. I want to say a special goodbye to all members of the Hive Learners community, it was so nice to be a part of you all. I'm grateful for the fun, support and enlightenment I got from the community.
I will miss The Minimalist Community as well. Even though I only realized it recently, it became my favourite and I posted there almost every week. I learnt a lot from weekly KISS blogging ideas.
I will miss the Afri Tunes community as well. I equally just became a part of that community and I loved the creativity I saw there. Great singers and instrumentalists. I began learning some songs which I hoped to present weekly but now we are saying goodbye.
I want to give a big shout out to the Weekend Experiences community. It was a pleasure to always share weekend experiences, get involved in the writing prompts, this is the most fun filled community for me.
I want to appreciate all my favourite communities, Q- inspired, Ladies of Hive, OCD, Personal Development, Emotions and Feelings Hive Open Mic and a lot more that I can even begin to think about right now.
I also appreciate all the curators, a special thank you to Lazy Panda🐼 my knight in shining armour as I always call it.
To all the great authors that I really loved, @millycf1976 @josediccus @samostically @bruno-kema @iskafan @deraaa @starstrings01 I would miss you all and thank you for putting out some exceptional writings that really helped my life. I hope that we all will be doing well wherever we will be after now.
As much as this is so hard for me to believe, life surely goes on and nothing lasts forever so I'm saying goodbye everyone, till we meet again.

I hope above all things that this day wouldn't come, atleast not so soon. It would really break my heart to wakeup and realize that Hive is no more😔😔😔😔

I LOVE to hear that, and I put myself in your shoes and know exactly where that is coming from.
When I was leaving The Philippines, my parting gift to @luckylaica was introducing her to HIVE, and my selling point was verbatim to what you said there. I feel so proud every time I read her blogs and see how much she has grown, and the confidence she has gained from being on hive.

Yes, it's wonderful to see, especially because I did it for the exact value that @didee gains from being on Hive.
I wasn't in a position to give more to my friend who I connected with during the years that I lived in her country, but I thought Hive was a great avenue to broaden her horizon so to speak.

Now, this is more like how a farewell message for Hive would look like. It feels so real; like how one would write one.
You talked about all your favourite communities and favourite people. What farewell message would it be without the people, places and things that you have come to love?
One thins I love about Hive is that you are bound to grow if you are willing. The fact that there are several niches with their own communities and people makes it all the more easier to interact with brilliant minds like yours, and in turn grow.
A very good example is that book your are now developing. You sure would not have thought that you would be writing your own book in just a matter of time. Or, did you?
