Five days adventure with needles 😢

In the beginning I felt this was something very insignificant. Probably just the usual slight fever due to changes in weather but something about this feeling made me restless. I would feel sleepy and not be able to sleep. I was feeling unnecessarily tired. It didn't make sense to do nothing all day and yet feel very exhausted such that I wouldn't be able to walk.
What started as a restless feeling of not being able to sleep escalated to loud grumblings coming from my stomach and I noticed I was bloating. I eat I'm the morning and till evening I'll still be feeling very full and my stomach seemed to be increasing in size.
Later that night, in the early hours of that morning at around 3am I began to purge and after it came a series of vomit from my mouth and nose. I have never experienced something like this so I panicked. When morning finally came into full view, I had breakfast and still threw up much later.
I was given Oral rehydration salt mixture to drink but it didn't help the situation.
The next day, I gathered all my strength and visited a medical laboratory. After explaining how I felt, I was asked to take a pregnancy test, HIV test, malaria / typhoid test and blood level test. That made me laugh because I knew for a fact that the pregnancy and HIV test results will turn out to be negative. I didn't wish to waste my money so I ignored these two options and took the other three tests. My result came 3 hours after. My blood level was normal but I had malaria and typhoid too.
I began treatment immediately. I didn't want to take oral medications so I resorted to injections. It's been five days of having my skin pierced and it hasn't been funny😭 I had drip infused every evening as well. Two little bottles every evening. Today was the last day.

The first three days went well. I survived all the piercings and injections but yesterday something happened. I was pierced on two different veins yet blood wouldn't flow. I got scared and a hard girl like me began to cry😂 The nurse tried another vein and this time blood did flow so I had my drip infused successfully.
Today was the fifth day and the last day. I was very worried because of how yesterday went. The nurse too looked very nervous. She kept praying the first vein she'll pierce will be perfect. Sadly it wasn't. I felt severe pains on the vein immediately the drip started flowing into my veins. I thought I could bear it but it was so severe so she had to pull out the needle. She decided to try a different spot entirely and I was shaking all over.

I was given some time to calm down before she tried again and this time it went through without any pain. I am glad that I survived the whole session. I don't see myself being injected again. I hope not to get sick anymore at least nothing that would warrant me being injected.
My body has been responding to treatment but I still feel very weak. I think I need enough rest and good meals. I was told to take a blood tonic and I'll be perfect in no time. I will do just that.
These few days made me understand how important our health is. I will be very cautious henceforth. I pray the new week will bring better tidings. Good evening friends.

I am praying for your recovery ... that was a LOT to go through ...
Thank you so much.
Sorry, do try to take care of yourself. Maybe take a break, rest well too. Cheiiiii, five days of pain.
Thank you so much dear.
Speed recovery for you in Jesus name Amen!
It's really good to take care of our health, sometimes we ignore the symptoms and claim "maybe stress, if I relax it will go" but it's more than that.
Really hope you get well soon and stronger 💪
Yes, you're right. I've just been assuming there was nothing really wrong with me and I ignored all the symptoms till it made me breakdown completely.
Thank you so much, I'll be stronger in no time.
Yeah you will 👍
