Hi guys this is my first time here and I'm glad to be here, I'm @diamondcare a native of Atai ibiaku itam in itu local government Area, Akwa ibom state Nigeria. I grew up to like what my father does as an occupation which is teaching, and am also a teacher, I choose this occupation not because of what I stand to gain but because of the love I have for little once(catch them young). I want to see a better Nigeria for my children,so it start from the classroom.

My Dad so love what he does for a living even when the pay wasn't something to write home about, he kept pushing, no respect for them by the communities and no respect from the government, we barely even feed because of the small salary. But this are the same people that impact knowledge to children who grow to become governor's and president and the are neglected of everything. Where did they go wrong? 😥😥

In this part of my country teachers are not respected, salaries are chicken change, but look at the senators money, and even a common councilor that has not even finish primary school will get a salary that's is 3 times better than that of a teacher.

In my own case, I have been insulted by my boss, but I keep on with the good work because of the love I have for the children. But it's high time this matter should be look into. Teachers need to be respected.
