Christmas is a festival celebrated around the world by Christians and even non-Christians. The festival commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, who would go on to establish Christianity. It is also one of the biggest annual festivals in the world, with billions of people taking part in its celebrations. Time is also spent with family and friends, exchanging gifts and having a blast. It is also a period were people get to travel for vacation, spend time with their families, make new friends and explore the world.
Traveling should be meaningful, exciting, inspiring, it should also be rejuvenating, educate and challenge you. Traveling gives us beautiful memories and countless irreplaceable learnings. For me personally traveling is a way of life.

Why do I want to travel this Holiday

1. To Learn; In life we cannot learn everything in the four walls of a classroom, traveling is a good way to learn to about history, geography, culture, gastronomy and new languages. Traveling enriches our mind and educates us far beyond any textbook. Travellers learn about different lifestyles but also learn about themselves along the way.

2. To Relax; Our lives is filled with busy schedule, meetings, conferences and seminars that we even forget to have some rest. Traveling allows us to escape life's daily demands, dramas and deadlines and enables us to clear our minds, it allows us to recharge our batteries and disconnect from social media, laptops and phones and make us reconnect with ourselves.

3 To Explore; Traveling takes us out of our comfort zone and inspires us to see, taste and try new things. I remember when I traveled to Obudu Cattle Ranch, Cross River State in Nigeria, we had to use the Cable car as a means of transportation and the experience was mind blowing. It constantly challenges us not only to adapt to and explore new places, but to engage with different people, to share new and meaningful experiences with friends and family, and talk about how we can bring a change to our country as young people.

1. Escape reality; Sometimes we need to escape reality every once in awhile, Travel allows us to enjoy anonymity in a new place. It gives us freedom to live in the moment and lets us be anyone and do anything without worrying if anyone will recognize us. It enables us to be spontaneous and have new experiences.

2. To eat; I am a lover of good food . When traveling make sure you go with an healthy appetite and be willing to taste new flavors and local delicacies. It is always a very satisfying experience.

6 To be transformed; Travel to seek adventure and not just for travelling sake. Take part in authentic experiences that will not only change the way you see the World, but also encourage you to reflect on yourself and create environmental awareness. This will help in environmental protection and conservation of our planet.

what my favorite holiday food is: (white soup with pounded yam)

The importance of food is obvious and essential. Healthy food provides us the nutrients and energy to develop and grow, be active and healthy, to move, play, work, think and learn. Food is the third most important thing for living beings to provide energy and development, maintain life, or stimulate growth after air and water. In fact, it is one of the most complicated sets of chemicals.
Food plays an important role in the promotion of health and disease prevention. Our body is just like a machine; like an engine burning fuel, the work of the body due to the energy supplied from food.
The food we take in our nutrition acts as a fuel to generate energy in the mitochondria.Glucose from food interacts with oxygen to form energy, Carbon dioxide, and water molecules.
Our body uses the consumption of food in order to generate the driving forces to keep the lungs breathing the heart beating and the limb function. That's why I don't joke with good food when I see one, so anytime I'm opportune to travel back home during holidays, I eat my favorite soup Afia efer (white soup) because of how nutritious it is. That's why in my village it is being given to only elderly person.

My love for white soup began right from when I was little,and I so like it with goat meat. I'm an Ibibio woman and this tribe cannot be mentioned without a good and tasty soup like Afia efere.

White soup (Afia Efere) was given to the soup because of it color, and pounded yam is being used to make the soup thicker and for eating. This soup is a very simple one, the cooking too is stress free💃💃💃 all one got to do is to keep the meat set, pound crayfish, get pounded yam ready, uyayak(Aidan fruit) then the soup is ready.

Wherever you are from, this food should be on your roster and it goes well with pounded yam.
