What we got from the Food Hunting?

Hello, friends especially foodies!

Last saturday besides going to ITC Mangga Dua to buy some things, we also didn't miss the opportunity to buy some food too there. Yes because actually that area is also well known as its' tasty food. So why don't you check what we found out?

First place, after had had our lunch there, the mixed pork rice, not far from there, there was the pia's seller. Pia is one of our authentic cake. It had dry texture and tasted light sweet on the skin but always sweet in the filling.

Pia here had many fillings like chocolate, cheese, beans or evennn king of the fruit.
The price for each was only 5,000 IDR. We then chose 4 of it, the seller then put it in the box and mom paid.

4 pcs of pia with 20K IDR price or just around 1.3 USD.

Next the second place which located on 4th floor. It sold many kind of Indonesian cakes, mostly had sweet flavour. We then chose 2 of their apem cakes to take home too..

It was 8K IDR each and i got 1k IDR cashback so it was 15K IDR for two of the cakes, or just around a USD...

The third one was the place when mom finally met one of her favorite indonesian dessert, cendol...

Luckily not far from the food stall, mom could enjoy the dessert, cendol iced.

It had sweet flavour from the brown sugar.. it had savory flavour from the coconut milk. While the cendol (green ones) made from the special flour with the leaves so it was naturally coloured.. one of the best cendol you could get, so fresh and tasty!

And these are the pia and also apem that we had as our take away.

The pia we had with cheese filling, chocolate filling, green bean filling and also king of fruit filling.

The crispy skin was not hard, it was soft. Inside were tasty filling.

The apem cakes had soft and also chewy texture with sweet flavour. But not too sweet, so delicious too..

And you must try them all when you visit ITC Mangga Dua!
